Organic food in supermarkets

There's no waitrose near me, sadly. I did the long trip to Sainsburys today and they had no organic mayo on the shelves- it's a small store so I guess if it doesn't sell they won't stock it.
I did get some Rocks Organc Squash 2 for £5 though which is cheaper than the £2.99 a bottle I've been paying0 -
Hi y'all, hope everyone doing well. Just had some yummy organic Abel & Cole eggs
Fell completely off the organic low carb wagon last night. We were sorting through paperwok and before we knew it, it was 9pm so er umOH went to local 7/11 shop and got tinned spaghetti

Yuk ^ tinned spaghetti
My Riverford and A&C orders both arrived very early today, didn't even get the boxes out for A&C as they were 6 hours earlier than usual! Got an Ecover offer on my receipt. Only complaint about some herbs that were past it. Salad only this week. New item to try this week is the naan bread (I've not successfully made this myself so on the rare occasion I have it I still buy it).
Becky - Amazon have some organic mayo, might be easier given your lack of supermarkets.0 -
I know, I know
I live in an organic food desert
Just done an Ocado order though, for tomorrow. YV fruit yogurts in the 450g are on offer and Duchy Originals small pots. Watercress and wild rocket both on offer, Ocado 1.2kg carrots. Evian 2 for £4 as well.
Saved 11.97 on offers0 -
Hi, been busy but lurking to keep up. Just had Abel and Cole sizable eggs (my fav) scrambled on hm malted bread toasted made by oh, yummy
Riverford arrived and more chocolate brownie and trying the apricot flapjack this time too. Chocolate brownies are a real hit with oh and he's really fussy with chocolate.
Recently Mr Organic baked beans were on offer with ocado and we can reccomend them. Never liked anything but Heinz until recently, however they seem to have become really sweet and with too much juice. Having discovered Mr Organic we've been converted.
Also been impressed by Riverford meat and have found the minced steak to be the best mince we have tasted. Not cheap but worth trying. Also their garlic is the best we've found.
Started getting the med fruit box from Abel and Cole. This week we got 5 apples, 5 pears, 8 oranges, 6 sm bananas and a punnet of strawberries, all really lovely (£11.50). Strawberries and bananas were scummy on our cornflakes (Whole Earth £1.49 a box and the best so far)0 -
^ Sounds good, I forgot to put bananas on my order this week
The apples have been lovely the past few weeks.
In my salad box from Riverford I was expecting one lettuce, so ordered a salad pack for me as by the time the pigs have started on it there's not much for me to share, but they sent 2 lettuces so got loads now.. I also had the lemon choc biscuits again, they are too good.. got the Biona marge to try in cakes but it is ridiculously expensive, it's cheaper to buy butter.. and tbh I will probably go back to using non org Pure when baking - I only ever use it in sponge cakes.0 -

Okay all you 'fountains of organic info', need some advice...
Need a recommendation for organic night cream - have just read and looked up the ingredients on a tube of Body Shop Tea Tree night lotion (can't remember exact title) and was stunned by the ingredients. So am a fan of Weleda stuff but has anyone any other faves? Ta.0 -
Mr Organic baked beans
Organic Haricot Beans, Water, Tomato Puree, Sugar, Rice Flour, Sea Salt, Cider Vinegar, Onion Powder, Paprika, White Pepper, Nutmeg.
Its different to normal baked beans, I have their regular ketchup and looking forward to trying their curry ketchup and olive oil next.0 -
Tesco Organic 1litre orange/apple juice is on offer at £1.25 at the minute. Got a couple of bottles today.
I hate the amount of plastic veg seem to come in from supermarkets, I've just had to go through so many things taking off shrink wrap and plastic, it's horrible.0
