Nearly pay day again (Friday). It's been an expensive month as had a week visiting my sister who arranged day trips and meals out aplenty! Managed to stay within the budget I set for self but still spent a lot!

Have done the "Tilly Tidy" every day and when no odds to tidy I put a pound or two across.

Looking forward to updating my signature soon

Hope that everyone is keeping well.

    Hi girls!

It has been a while since I checked in on this thread.
EchoDelta and Peonie you are both doing so well!

I am doing woefully on the Baby Fund challenge. I'm going to make a better effort in the coming months.

I've just had another miscarriage, my third in less than a year. So that has been filling my mind and driving me crazy for the last few weeks.

So I am just going to try to be a bit more proactive for the coming months - and that includes getting closer to my debt-free goals and work on the baby fund.

Wishing you both lots of babydust, and the same to anyone else who is following the thread!

Well done EchoDelta - that is fantastic progress!
I've had a lot of unexpected expenses this month, but I have been able to meet them all, which is great!
But the Baby Fund is seriously lagging behind!
I am seeing a specialist gynaecologist for recurrent miscarriage. She took heaps of
blood samples for various testing, and we are still waiting for most of the results to return. We have had the genetic and chromosomal testing results back, and they are all clear, so there isn't any reason why we can't create a healthy baby. I'm hoping that the other tests will show up some reason for the miscarriages.

In the meanwhile I need to get back onto this Baby Fund savings!!!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather.

    Good luck C.

Well, I am pleased to announce that last month I completed the baby fund challenge - woohoo. £8,500 in the bank. And while I wait for the baby part to happen I'm going to enjoy myself and put more money into the mortgage.

    Keep at it ladies.
