Thanks Echo. I've recalculated and I'm £30 behind where I though I was. I'm still determined to finish next month.

Not payday but I was feeling a bit blah with lack of progress on actual baby so thought I would update my signature with the child benefit and "tilly tidy" odds and ends of the month. Feel a bit better, have increased total by £125.06.

Echo, have you been trying for long?

Another £300 whizzed over to the savings account making me that much closer to my target. Only £515 to go.

PrincessLou has not been on here in a while. I hope she and the babies are OK.

No so long really, just since the start of this year. It took me 10 months to get pregnant first time around so I shouldn't moan really. Just mega broody!

Yay! You are definitely on the home straight now! Will you keep adding to it with a view to having extra time off or do you have other plans for it?

Absolutely this. If you're out there PrincessLou hope all is well.

I won't keep adding to it. It will be nice to have it done and dusted and to focus on something new. Over the next few months the extra cash will be saved for a holiday. Following that I'll pay extra off the mortgage and use it to renovate the house. We've been trying for nearly 3 years so at the back of my mind I think we might need the cash to pay for private fertility treatment. I've just had an operation so I hope not but if I do I'll be back here saving again.

I hope you get your baby soon.
