Have just done my pay day update and now just under £2500 to go.

I clearly have fat fingers!! I meant just over £2500 to go!!

Have just updated to show the results of my "tilly tidies" this month and now it really is just under £2500 to go!!

Plus pay day next week so will be able to put a good chunk in then.

    Hi girls!
    Congratulations Peonie!!
Don't forget to keep dropping in here for a chat! :j
Well done EchoDelta and ChelseaBlue - you are both powering along with the challenge.

I've topped up my BabyFund to the princely sum of €45. Having made great progress on my debts I'm determined to up the ante with the BabyFund.

I'm still waiting for my recurrent miscarriage blood test results - which is really frustrating at this stage :( and I've set aside some money in my budgets to see another specialist and to have some more tests done that weren't covered in the free standard tests that I've already had done.
In the meanwhile we've been told to keep trying.... ;)
Are any of you ttc (trying to conceive) yet?!

Hi castlelough, sorry to hear that you are still waiting for results. I hope that you get some answers soon. And good luck with the *ahem* trying in the meantime ;)

We're ttc but nothing yet - but it's only been a few months really so not so bad.

  • So as the baby part is taking a little longer than hoped and I thought of some other bits I would like to have the funds for when on maternity leave (e.g. trip to visit my sister who lives a flight away and a naming party/celebration plus a bit more fuel each month as I think I was a little too optimistic with my estimate I have decided to increase my Baby Fund Challenge target to £10,000. I now have £2745.40 to go!

Firstly, huge apologies for completely abandoning you all when I was the one who started the challenge in the first place!! I'm hoping I will get half an hour to read through all of your posts and catch up what is happening with everyone and update the list with new totals and new members.

Next, to the reason I haven't been able to get near the computer for so long - my gorgeous boys! INCREDIBLY hard work and leave me without a minute to spare but most definitely worth it! They are now almost four months old! Doesn't seem five minutes ago since I started the challenge and found out I was expecting them. Time sure does fly...

I've decided I would like to stick with the challenge just to keep updated with what's happening with everyone's baby plans. Also, I may start the challenge again soon myself because, call us crazy, but we would like another baby in 2+ years time and It would be good to get a head start this time with the baby fund.
