  • I'm gonna email them and complain today, see if I can get any knocked off.

I got the tesco's wholemeal, its 75p. I usually go in and get the reduced bread at end of day, 10p fresh baguettes and the like. :)

I still want to be at the point of meeting payments etc by december (shudders at thought of xmas presents :(), so no late payments and start rebuilding credit rating long term.
  • So...

Signed on Thurday. I'm hoping that is the last time I ever have to do that!

Basically all I've spent this week is £3.50 on buses on thursday. Lots of groceries left as well so wont starve lol. I have the cash up for insurance and some lessons for test again on monday. So fed up of handing virtually everything I have coming in to sit driving tests :(

I'm gonna do some ebaying to get up cash for capital one which is due 15th and I've £33 due with HSBC on 22nd, but thats a ways off.

I still have no oil in house we need 600 litres so its £120 each, but I've no idea where thats coming from yet!

Kind of a tough time, I just want this test passed on monday then I can get stuck into cards and some oil bought! lol.
  • Nightmare, Just as I get to the point of dealing with capital one, I get a letter in the post from FPC?

Apparently they are capital ones debt collectors!

I'm not sure if capital one defaulted my account, I usually just check online and the letters go to my parents address (Actually no letters did before as I switched off paper statements).

I'm really worried now that they have sold the debt on.

Going over to pick up any letters later. hmmm worried.
  • Just found the letters that had been sent to my parents house regarding capital one, first I've seen of them. ARGH.

16/9/2012 - 28 days to pay overdue amount letter (overdue amount £130.08)

18/10/2012 I offically recieved a "statement of default" on the card on the at this point the overdue amount is listed as £127.59.

23/10/2012 letter from capital one 23rd october FPC instructed to arrange repayment of capital one balance.

31/10/2012 first FPC letter, debt referred from capital one - Total balance on card £976 (£176 over limit)

07/11/2012 FPC letter to my current address "we have recieved information this is your current address etc) (I have literally no idea how they got this?)

I'd switched to paperless statements and checked balance online so hadn't seen all these default notices, just knew I was overdue.

If you read my debt diary, I have sorted HSBC credit card and overdraft and was due to deal with capital one this month. I don't really know where to go from here, Theres a default now on credit record, which is gonna hammer me long term for a mortgage etc. If these letters had of came to my house I'd have known how insane all this had gotten!

Any advice on dealing with FPC? I presume there is no way back to dealing with capital one now the debt has moved to FPC?
  • Test on monday, will ring FPC on tuesday morning and arrange payment.

    I'm thinking £50 a month from the £970?
