What manufacturer does T shirt bras with firm cups. Most of what I have seen in T Shirt bras offer very little in the way of firmness?

M&S do lots of firm-cup Tshirt bras in different styles. I got one with removable straps for £16. I looked at more expensive brands but got bugged as none of the shops had the right styles in my size, whereas M&S have everything under the sun.

They give you a much better shape as they hold everything up IYKWIM....I am a 36D and gravity/breast feeding has taken its toll.

I wear mine with everything not just Tshirts, they are invaluable. However although they are good with clothes on, they are about as sexy as armour plating it must be said...

My problem with those firm cup t-shirt bras is that, in my size, when they are off they look HUGE! When my cat was only a tiny bit smaller, he could quite happily fall to sleep in one of them!

    Stomping,

Any big department stores, or smaller specialist shops, should have specialist fitters.

I am usually measured with my bra on, but then obviously take my bra off to try new ones. Don't be embarrassed about the assistant seeing you topless - they've seen it all before! x

i normally wear a 36D but i think the back is too big as it rides up (i'm a size 12) and the cup is too small. i have ordered 10 bras from figleaves 2 each in sizes 34D, 34DD, 34E, 36DD and 36E so i can compare and see which one fits best. i used a 20% code and also went through quidco for a further 11% cashback :)

    Skinvisible moulded padded bra, Black, 36E 1 @ 17.60 GBP = 17.60 GBP
    Skinvisible moulded padded bra, Black, 34E 1 @ 17.60 GBP = 17.60 GBP
    Celebration Cotton Moulded underwired bra, Black, 36E 1 @ 14.40 GBP = 14.40 GBP
    Celebration Cotton Moulded underwired bra, Nude, 34E 1 @ 14.40 GBP = 14.40 GBP
    Perfect Basics non-padded underwired bra, Black, 36DD 1 @ 9.60 GBP = 9.60 GBP
    Perfect Basics non-padded underwired bra, Mocha, 34D 1 @ 9.60 GBP = 9.60 GBP
    Perfect Basics non-padded underwired bra, Black, 34DD 1 @ 9.60 GBP = 9.60 GBP
    Loire T-shirt bra, Black, 36DD 1 @ 11.20 GBP = 11.20 GBP
    Loire T-shirt bra, Black, 34DD 1 @ 11.20 GBP = 11.20 GBP
    Loire T-shirt bra, Black, 34D 1 @ 11.20 GBP = 11.20 GBP

i'll probably end up being a 32F or something now lol

My wife and daughter recommend Rigby & Peller.

My wife said that they put her boobs back where God intended!

Rigby & Peller are fab but so very expensive and lots of people can't afford that luxury. R&P branded bras cost in the region of £60 upwards

I persnally do not find the fit on me all that - but as has been noted before everyone is different and different styles suit different people.

Just find yourself a good local store or department store and one that has the patience to help you and make you feel comfortable. if you feel rushed you are just going to take one even though it does not fit so if the asistant is getting stressy then go elsewhere.

Take a good selection of sizes and styles in with you so you can try them on and get a feel for how they fit. I personally find the best fitting bras are by Panache, Fantiase and Freya andthey run to a JJ cup (Panache will soon have a K cup bra). Lepel are a newer name onto the market up to a G cup and they are cheaper but give the same fit. Look for a bra having a 3, or more, sectioned cup as these give the best support to the larger bust.

There are some very sexy bras out there at the moment and there are is a selction of the ranges here:

    https://www.panache-lingerie.co.uk
    and
https://www.eveden.com - choose Fantasie or Freya (made by the same company, Freya offer more 'young', fun and vibrant prints and offer mainly balcony and plunge cup bras)

You can't buy from these sites but it'll help with finding a selection of what is on the market at the moment from these companies and then you can have a google around and find out where you can buy them from. There is a huge move in selling larger G+ sizes and about time too in my opinion as I need them myself!!

Since I watched a programme the other evening about large breasted ladies I have also realised I am wearing the wrong sized bra.

They showed one of them being measured correctly at Rigby & Peller and the girl ended up being a completely different bra size to what she thought she was.

My bras are mostly size 36D with a few 34D, but after seeing the programme and reading the figleaves bra fitting book mentioned above (which can be downloaded free of charge) I think that my cup size is too small and the band is too big.

It says size 10 or 12's are unlikely to need a 36 band bra. I am a size 12 and mostly wear 36D bras...

My bra doesn't sit flush with my rib cage, the rear band is too high and i sometimes get a bulge on the front where the cup is too small.

It sounds like I may actually be around a 34DD, but I won't know until I try some different sized bras or get measured properly.

If I have to purchase a load of new bras I am not sure what to do with my wrong sized ones, as I have at least 10-15 bras in 34D and 36D all in excellent condition, some barely worn, but I don't think you can sell them on ebay as they would be classed as used underwear which is not allowed. It seems such a waste as I would imagine they cost me around £200-£300 in total.

If they're in really good condition, they might make a few £! I've been a 36c for about 4 years, and recently found them all a bit small. With no time, and no mates to go get measured, I bought a couple of cheaper bras on ebay with my measurements as per tape measure, 34D, and I got one from LaSenza orig, and fits like a dream and underwired! Best £2.50 i've spent! Am going to go get measured and buy some more at the correct size in the near future :)

    Good idea pinkgem,

Means you can take your time and try them on in your own home.

Though different people do have different back sizes, I would guess that you would not be a 36 back. When I am a 16 or a smaller 18 (I vary so much!), I am only a 36, so you will possibly be smaller.

Also remember, if you go down a back size, you will most likely need to go up a cup size.

    Enjoy your trying on! x

La Senza were awful when I went, they didn't seem to have a clue. And M&S were only a little bit better, and insisted on measuring with my current bra on, which was strange, seeing as the reason I was there is I thought my bras weren't fitting properly, so surely they would distort the measurement?!

The useful thing I learned is that, when trying on in different shops, or even just in different styles/makes, to try several variations on the 'same' size, i.e. try going up a back size and down a cup size, or vice versa. E.g. a 36C cup could try a 38B or a 34D. I'm a 36C most of the time, but in some shops/styles, the 34D fits me better.

It makes sense, cos a bra might go around you ok, but still not fit properly - you might need more cup, in which case you'd need less back to go around the same amount.

    Good luck anyway.
