I noticed the powdery dust a long while ago, real pain makes the bathroom look a mess. (just taken a leaf out of your OH's book and sent a complaint to Andrex :D Told them pretty much what I said on here and also the product is barley fit for use (too thin) :)

Tesco own brand seems to be problem free.

Presumably that is dependent on your being intelligent enough to use it properly.

I think we can probably trace the sharp decline in quality to the time they switched the excellent LIVE lab puppy to those ridiculous CGI lab puppies in the adverts...

I know, I find a live Labrador puppy is far superior for wiping my backside with than those computer generated things. Much softer and warmer.
  • I got in touch with my inner-self early this morning - that's the last time I buy economy toilet paper!

ive always been of the opinion that i refuse to pay ridiculous prices for something that you wipe your backside with and chuck down the loo. i always buy the cheapest and if prices continue to rocket i shall simply have to resort to ray mears type ingenuity eg leaves
Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.
  • Andrex Quilted is my 'favourite' (if there is such a thing for bog roll), but I agree, I've noticed that even this one has become a touch thinner.

For me, cheap loo roll is a false economy - I just use more. I stock up on Andrex when it's on offer if poss.
