Job wise just been told, they have said no more updates this week but heard other depts are still cutting numbers. At least its another 2 days pay I suppose.

My headache will not shift, tried paracetamol and now about 4 cups of water (in case its dehydration).

Just updated totals for 'Beast' and glad to say its coming down. My cashback is looking good too, currently at £11 so I'll get a payout.

Had lunch, naughty, naughty I went and got a portion of chips from the canteen  (but in my defence the soup looked disgusting and the salad was full of stuff I'm allergic to.... honestly :o).

According to the news we're now out of recession. Really? That'll be why there's lots of derelict shops and job cuts everywhere. hmmm.

Headache is still lingering despite 2 paracetamol (daren't take anymore), and copious amounts of water. I really do think its stress.

How is everyone? Everyone prepared for the wintry weather coming this way this weekend? I think I'll be wearing jeans and boots tomorrow to work. We're not supposed to but others wear blue jeans on a friday (even though they semi-relax the strict dress code on a friday), mine are M&S and more like trousers than jeans so if I wear a shirt with it and my long cardi it'll still look smart.

Bit fed up. One minute its one thing at work the next its something else. Is a bit of stability too much to ask?

Hi Uni, sorry I'm late in coming to your diary. Thought you'd gone quiet, at least I've found you now. Hope you get some good news.

Thanks Lucielle. I wanted to start a new diary to draw a line under what had happened before and get a new focus but it just seems to be such a hard slog.

I know my debt is going down but I really could kick myself when I think how much my debt has cost me over the years. Its frightening! Its also stopped me from doing a lot as well. It would have been nice if the first time I'd been made redundant I'd have a bit more money left over if I hadn't had the debt to pay but I guess c'est la vie.

Had a roll and sausage for breakfast and its sitting like a lead weight in my stomach. It seemed like a good idea at the time! Pay day today, so once its through I'll be sorting out money for all the bills etc.

Hope the job situation gets sorted, I don't know how the gov can say things are getting better there's at least 3 big employers up here in North Wales that are making redundancies, it's still bad out there.

Try not to think about the money that's gone before, I know how I could cry over how much has gone to nothing but we're going in the right direction and every time we make a payment it's a step closer to debt freedom.

Bit obvious lol, but keep it going x

Thanks Evcakes, its the setbacks that make things worse. Redundancy twice, each time taking an age to find work (700 and 500 applications respectively) and inbetween times using redundancy money to pay the bills. Out of the last 3 and half years I have spent 11 months not working but each time I managed to pay the bills and keep plowing through. We should hopefully get an update today shortly, whether it will be 'new' news I don't know.

    The plan for tonight?
