Feeling a little cold tonight, got a blanket around my shoulders. Refusing to leave the heating on due to the cost. Taking advantage of SS not being here so broadband can get turned off overnight and anything else I.e. his tv or tv in lounge overnight.
Sorted out OH's direct debit. Phoned them and they were really nice about it. Paid via debit card, no charge and an email to say its all paid off. Packed lunches made, just the extras to put with them I.e. crisps, fruit etc.
OH starts work in a couple of hours, back home for me, quick tidy round and sort out dogs then bed.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, how is everyone? Up way too early this morning. The alarm clock felt like a bad dream :doh:but got up, got the dogs sorted, myself washed and dressed and went to pick up OH.
Got a nice surprise through the post yesterday, lots of 20% off vouchers for M&S, one for me and 7 (!!!!) to give away. they are valid until 23rd I think so I may put my thinking cap on and see what I need for myself and for christmas pressies.
Small payment of 79p to my other cc today, wondering if I should put that on my signature to help chart my progress?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Every payment counts so include it

We've the winter duvet on, and boy is it needed!!! Soooo cold these days!
Glad the DD got sorted out fairly easily

We've held off putting the winter duvet on just yet HAW, its the summer duvet and a faux fur throw. We know its really cold when we need the winter duvet AND the throw!
The DD company were really nice and VERY helpful. They saw OH had made all his payments on time etc so this was a blip and he was phoning to sort it there and then.
Updated Beast and may include my other cc in my sig now too. Will post it later. Would love to clear them off completely but thats going to take time. Each time I think I'm getting nowhere I look back at my original total (around 65K, 6 years ago for my full debt) and see how far I've come. I'm hoping that the rest doesn't take me as long to pay off and what I've paid so far. It'd be nice to get a lucky break now instead of getting kicked in the teeth (numerous redundancies, large gaps without work and still paying bills and the expense of the horror SD caused).
Decided to make some Santa Sleighs this year for some folks. Not made them for a couple of years. Looking forward to it. Tonight? Home, changed, see to dogs, make dinner (unless OH has, last night I just made tea for myself as OH had eaten.... spaghetti and HM pasta sauce), make packed lunches, sort clothes for work, then sleep!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, I am still full of the cold and can't stop sneezing. How is everyone?
On the money front? I've put up my other cc, its due a payment but that won't get done till this weekend probably. I made a small payment of £1 to Beast and £1 to the Other one but not updated the totals yet. Why a £1? Well I have £72.01 left in my account till friday (pay day) so when I have the extra pounds or even pennies it goes towards my debt when I'm close to payday (and if I know I haven't anything else to buy). The reason for the .01 is I always leave that in my account so that even if I did lift my last £10 I don't have a zero balance. Might seem odd but thats just the way I prefer to do things.
Ended up having to buy replacement milk last night. The milk I'd bought from Aldi's was off, still well in date but someone has ripped the seal off. Not noticeable until you go to open it! Thats a few things now thats been like that. Wondering if its a disgruntled member of staff? They also had week old cream on the shelf last week.
Tea last night was lorne sausage, potato scone, bacon, scrambled egg and grilled tomato. Totally yum.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello

Haven't been doing so well with my squats this week - and it told on me this morning when I was cycling to work. Plus haven't been out with OH on the bikes for a couple weeks either. I was somewhat slower than my usual pace
There's a shop near our house that would reduce stuff the day before the BBE date, but the last couple of times I've bought them, the stuff has already been off!! Needless to say I'll avoid their reduced stuff totally
Last nights dinner was noodles with peppers and red onion, with a sweet chilli and ginger something or other sauce
Dinner tonight is spag bol

Morning All, how is everyone?
Tea last night ended up being takeaway pizza! Bad, bad, bad I know (not just from the money aspect).
OH last night just would not be quiet during whatever I wanted to watch, you would have thought he would have got the hint when I kept rewinding programs to get what I'd missed because he'd been yapping. Yet if I do it to him he get annoyed. Still loaded with this cold and really just want to go back to my bed but no work, no pay. Besides I think its more I'm feeling sorry for myself. The dogs are driving me nuts, the youngest one (and he's not a pup he's an adult dog) is not the cleanest if you know what I mean (he likes rolling in stuff!) and the smell and the constant cleaning up is getting to me. OH wasn't happy last night when I said SIL and BIL basically cared more about their holiday, when I explained they didn't tell us half of how they (the dogs) are and that they didn't give us nearly enough food (or the money to buy it) for them he did finally agree.
Pay day tomorrow and I can't wait. Found out I'm off for the september holidays so 2 days this month I won't get any pay.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. at B/SIL not sorting things properly before they went. That was very selfish of them, and I would agree with them seeming to care more about their holiday! Not fair on the dogs or you!
OH and the girls are a nightmare to watch films with! Bugs the life outta me. There's a constant running commentary instead of just watching the blasted thing!! lol
:j for payday!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Quick update before bed, one of the dogs had wrecked my hall runner.
