Lol to cupboard squats HAW!
How is everyone this morning? I was still up early but OH got a lift into work. The chap thats giving him a lift said he'd be offended if OH tried to give him petrol money etc as i) he's going that way anyway and ii) he can't give OH a lift everyday. Isn't that nice he wouldn't take anything? Kind of restores your faith in human nature. I still might make some HM marmalade etc and give OH a few jars to give to him.
Well SIL's dogs are settling. One of them decided to be sick in my living room last night and then the hall. Turns out they've not left enough tinned food and supplements, nor have they left any money to purchase slices of cold meat (I give them their tablets wrapped in a piece of cold meat) as they said they would.
May have to take OH into work later this week but this morning certainly gave me a little rest. Was asleep before my head hit the pillow last night, didn't even want to watch celebrity big brother (yes, sad I know).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. :rotfl: Will be doing my next 30 at lunch again

I'm good! Monday over so all downhill from here!! lol.
Sometimes people can be nice. Good to hear a good story!
Hmmmm make sure you keep all receipts (including cleaning stuffs!) and give them a bill when SIL gets back. You're doing them a favour. It sure as heck shouldn't be costing you anything!!
Don't watch CBB. Don't watch any reality TV actually. Films is as far as I go. We watched The Echo last night. Good film but weird. Not a fan of horror but managed to watch it with my eyes open

Not seen that one HAW, we watched the remake of Evil Dead, dire to say the least. The best film I've seen recently is Oblivion. Not usually a fan of a lot of Tom Cruise films but this one had a tremendous story line.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I'm not a fan of his either, but that one is in my 'to watch' list

OH and DD2 would watch horror films all day every day. I gotta be in the mood. And preferably not too close to bedtime :rotfl:
EDIT:
30 squats - done!

Well done HAW, I managed 25 squats yesterday. Think I'm coming down with a cold. OH has it and is feeling miserable. One of SILs dogs just wouldn't settle last night. Never seen such a figity (sp?) and clumsy dog before. SS is now off work until he leaves to join SIL and BIL on holiday. Really wish we'd said no to taking the dogs so we could go away.
Better start getting ready for work, no excuse to be late I was up at 5 and have pottered about since then!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Having a real silly moment this morning, I was convinced I was taking OH to work this morning. So I was up well before I needed to be. Sat here showered, dressed and just need to dry my hair. Very tempted to finish getting ready and go to McDs for breakfast. Very naughty I know. SS is now on holiday but forgot to put his friend's holiday form in at work so his friend is in trouble. Don't think SS was too bothered but his friend was fuming.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello

You were on MSE early this morning!!! Did you get your McDs breakfast??
I cycled to and from work yesterday (3 miles total) so no squats, but just completed 30 (cupboard!) squats :rotfl: Honestly, if anyone was in the building opposite, all they'd get would be 'now you see me, now you don't, now you see me....' They'd be on the floor in kinks at me!! :rotfl:
Dogs and better settled??
Know what you mean. Sometimes when the kids are away, rather than staying put, it's an opportunity for you and OH to head off somewhere or do something out of the norm. We're the same. Although the girls were all away Tuesday night and we were both tucked up in bed way early coz we were shattered
:rotfl: Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Decided against the McD's. Just not feeling well, throat like sandpaper, runny nose.....its horrible! Spent a bit of time with the dogs and let them run around the garden. OH is not in till later tonight but at least he's getting dropped off.
I need to get a new pair of work shoes, I have completely worn through my shoes to the angled metal bit on the sole that creates the height for the heel. They weren't expensive shoes so not worth re-sole-ing (which at the cheapest here is £17!).
Done my squats today although I could have quite happily gone back to bed. Need to stop off on the way home and get cold meat for us for sandwiches (although tempted just to do egg mayo for OH and I'll get a baked potato from work, one of my colleagues came back with one at lunchtime and it looked lovely), but I do also need to get cold meat (value stuff) for the dogs. Its the easiest way to give their tablets. i.e. wrap the tablets in it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. The weather is horrible today. Got new shoes yesterday, however the £17 ones in M&S dug into my toes and the £29.50 didn't (the more expensive ones have a slight platform to them). I ended up with a dress for work (and I was shocked I needed an 18 as I'm a 14 in their jeans!!!!!) and tights. I had a money off voucher that a colleague gave me which gave me £10 off (so basically got my tights free).
Well we've had Sil's dogs for a week now. In that whole week we've had one text asking how they are and that wasn't until yesterday. Feeling a bit taken for granted. Its nice having a bit of peace from SS as well.
The dress size got me a bit, would love to get my 27 inch waist back. But the last time I had that was around 10-12 years ago!
Food shopping done yesterday. But noticed Aldi have stopped stocking a few items. Its not just my local branch as I asked. I wanted clotted cream yesterday (for a recipe) and theirs is a lot cheaper than elsewhere and they've stopped stocking it. I still find it a lot cheaper than elsewhere for eggs, bread, fruit, veg, milk.
Talked OH into an Aldi pizza instead of a takeaway pizza last night. The pizza was £1.50 and I add anchovies (£0.69) and olives (£0.49) and garlic bread (£0.34) so £3.02 instead of £18 from takeaway (including delivery) for a pizza and garlic bread.
Got a few bits and pieces to put away for christmas.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Not happy, OH forgot a direct debit then phones/texts/phones and I'm in a meeting. When I finally get a hold of him he says he didn't have enough money in his account to cover it, so I had to bail him out until payday (this friday). Now they've tried to take the money already so he phoned them and they said they could take it over the phone but their system was down so he'd have to phone later. He's away to bed as he's nightshift tonight and I'm fuming that he's not bothered checking his direct debits and now has ruined all my good work building his credit rating back up by missing the last payment on this. ..... I mean how could he forget????? He must have realised last friday when he got paid it wasn't going to be enough to cover it. I've done him spreadsheets etc and its me that needs to nudge him. I'm now going to fret as to whether he actually gets up in time to phone them back!!!!!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
