Uni vs' The Beast Pt 2

Morning

Didn't manage my squats last night, but cycled 5 miles x2 to visit my sisters. Had to cycle like a madwoman to get home coz it got dark really quickly
Was actually thinking my legs would be wrecked today, but thankfully they're grand. Have zumba tonight too! Will have to squeeze in my squats at some point though. Lunchtime?! :rotfl:
:j for OH getting a job!! Hope his first day goes well! Is this FT/PT and temp/perm? Can't believe SIL  Some people are just like that though. Forget about it and concentrate on yourselves please!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thanks HAW, OH's job is temp. He's just glad of the work. So am I to be honest. SIL? I can't be bothered with it ..... really. I don't want an arguement but it was just all about them yesterday. So it looks like we're stuck with their dogs for 4 weeks. BIL wanted a hand in his garden (moving stone chips, 12 tonnes!!!!) and OH said no as he was dressed in his good clothes. He eventually did help (as he felt guilty) and BIL decided to disappear, saying he'd be half an hour and came back 3 hours later when it was all done and OH has marks on his good boots and jeans.
Squats, I've done 15 so far today. Is it cheating I did them whilst brushing my teeth? I'll do the other 5 at lunchtime.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I'm sure you're both very glad of any work. Hope it works out well for him

4 weeks of dog doesn't sound like fun, esp with the shifts etc. We usually dog sit for any of OHs family if they're away, but it'd be a week at the most. By the end of the week we're glad to see them go!
Different if we had a bigger garden, were in the country, and didn't have to work all day.
Can't belive BIL  If I was OH I'd have stopped when BIL left and helped again when he returned. No way would I have carried on doing someone else's dirty work for them!!
Oh so we don't have to do all 20 in one go!? That's handy
I could pretend I miss the chair every time I go to sit down which would count as one... :rotfl: Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Home. OH cooked tea.... mince, mashed potatoes and sweetcorn (he couldn't find peas in the cupboard
). Its chilly but not putting the heating on yet. I might put it on in the morning for 20 minutes or so. The [STRIKE]brats[/STRIKE] kids are out playing (now we're talking 6 maybe 7) and the language they're coming out with is . But its the constant screaming and shouting, do kids have no respect these days?? If I'd been caught by my parents carrying on that way outside any adults door I would have been sent to bed without supper (it didn't do me any harm but it would be seen as cruelty now) and the language! I didn't swear in front of my mother till I was about 18 (it came out by accident when trying to change a tyre on the car) and I got "the stare", thats all it took!
OH is working tomorrow, so making his packed lunch. I have a leaving lunch so no packed lunch needed for me. Tea tomorrow night will be fish cakes, noodkes and stir fried veggies.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. How is everyone? Well its the eve of getting SIL's dogs and believe me I am not looking forward to it. I don't think they've thought or care how difficult this will be for us. Ok, OH said yes without thinking it through but come on its their dogs. You think they'd have thought about it? It turns out one of them needs various medication (which was asked at the time OH said yes and at the time they said no he wasn't on medication) and hasn't stopped taking it since he was a pup! I'm angry they lied to us . Its a lot of upheaval for us and I don't think they care. I've tried to hint that this wouldn't be a good idea but they're not taking the hint.
Been to Home Bargains and got some goodies to put away for Christmas. Marvel Avengers body wash (99p, something silly for SS); Football Glass (49p, BIL); Gardening lovers crossword (79p, Gran): Etched Espresso/Cappucino caddy/tin (49p, planning on putting boxes of cappucino or mocha, some biscuits, chocs and a travel mug (for my Aunt, she's always on the go). Got 2 lip balms in little tins for 19p. I'll load all of these onto my Christmas spreadsheet.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, very tired this morning. First night with the dogs last night. SS was told not to go downstairs once lights downstairs went out....what did he do? BIL and SIL bought us a takeaway when they came over, disaster the place missed half the order. So I phoned to complain.... SS starts shouting and swearing racist obscenities in the background! I was mortified!. OH had a go at him and said if he doesn't like pack his bags and move out. SS acted all I don't care (basically because his Auntie was there). Embarassing to say the least.
Well, I was up at 4:30. Let the dogs out, sorted their medication and OH took them for a walk and fed them. Then took OH to work (he started at 6) and I headed to work. Shattered, need coffee. Back later. ......oh made a little payment to Beast but it was just to pay ebay blanket I bought.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. *hugs* to you unix!
Hope the dog-sitting routine works out ok, but more so that you're not completely knackered with it!
SS packed his bags yet?!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
He goes on wednesday for 2 weeks 1 day for his holiday (OH says tbh he doesn't want him back). He completely sooked upto his Auntie saying he'd look after the dogs. After she left he went back up to his room and left us to it. OH should get home around 2ish, SS is now back at work and will leave before then. He's been given instructions (regarding dogs) but whether he does them is another matter. SS did clear out his room but it still looks like a tip.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Kids have a totally different standard of 'tidy' to us older folk!! We're having the tidy/untidy problem with DD1. Still.
I have literally just done my 30 squats (knew you'd be asking!) Puffing now! Colleague away out on lunch. Should try and get into the habit of doing them when she's out!!
(and hope that noone walks in!! :rotfl:)
Was out for a 10+ mile cycle yesterday so didn't do any then.
EDIT:
Maybe I should stand in front of a cupboard in the office so it looks like I'm looking for stuff if someone does happen to walk in :rotfl:Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
