Im sure we would all much rather have been better with our money and not be in debt, but we can't help that now, just celebrate the fact we had a LBM and did something about it. I truly believe we will all be better off (financially and mentally) after going through something like thisTotal: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0

Still feeling a bit down about the job losses but I suppose I've just got to deal with it and see what happens.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Well so far today I have:
- picked OH up from work and paid in money at the bank
- done 2 loads of washing (waiting on the 3rd finishing) and hung them up to dry (it makes a change from running around mad on a sunday trying to do it)
- cleaned the kitchen (including behind the dishwasher )
- harvested the chillis I'm growing that are ready (about 40)
- picked up 10 Snickers duos for 20p each (max 10 per customer, so it will do for christmas but I must hide them), thank you BP(I used a voucher on their website)
- finally picked up tealights!
I've still got to update my CV for the agency I work for, build the nappy cake my Mum asked for (for the lady that helped when someone reversed into my Mum's car) and do my paperwork for the week (means fishing all the receipts out my bag and tracking them all).
We should hopefully find out on Monday, who is staying and who is going at work.. I could really do without this worry, its horrible.
I've also got curtains rings to find that I bought I remember them being in the hall but they're not there now. I'm wondering if they have migrated into my hall cupboard  (yes, its scary....lots of things and only a half height door..... thank you mr builder I realise as its under the stairs you couldn't put a full door on it but could you not have put a full door at an angle on it? It would make things easier to take out and put away. I realise this is something we could do but its well down on the list of priorities at the moment.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. *note to self - remember to subscribe to uni's new diary, not just randomly comment on it and disappear...* *doh!*
Soooo, looks like you've had lots going on, be it good, bad or insanely ugly.:o
I'm crossing everything for Monday bringing you good news. But just in case that can't happen, I'm also adding in a wish that you'll immediately get something fab, nearer to home, and better paid (it's my wish, I shall wish for you to have more money if I want to...so nuh).
The wait must be maddening - so put it to good use, and update that CV....no harm in checking online for other opportunities either.
In the meantime... *big hugs*

Thanks Nora, you're a lovely lady. I really don't need this again twice in one year.
