Uni vs' The Beast Pt 2

Sorry I didn't write any more earlier the train arrived and when I got on there wasn't any seats. I'm shocked I saw the person but at least they had enough shame to walk away from me. I did get their mess they left on my doorstep so to speak sorted out but I'm guessing they didn't think I would pass on their email, mobile number, address of her parents, online personas. I was livid finding out she'd told her loan company my house was hers!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. hi uni, sorry it's taken me so long to follow you over here, just not been online too much of late.
glad to see you looking on the positive side of things, i wasn't practicing what i preached today at work, ended up having a strop at my manager, needed to be said but actually got me no where.
bet it was a shock to see your ex-friend.0 -
You ok LT? Maybe you needed a strop at your manager, although it might have seemed to have done no good this time in the long run maybe it has? I hope so.
Yes it was a shock to see ex-friend as I said she at least had the decency to leg it away from me!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Haven't read diary number 1 as yet, but gonna subscribe to this one. Want to hear about your battle with the Beast and Goliath!
Good luck
Beast and Goliath have been around (my neck) for a while (a long while) and Goliath has to go first as they really hiked the APR when I was made redundant (). The monthly payment skyrocketed and I am throwing every little bit I can at it. Beast is a much lower APR and its a cashback cc. So I am using that for day to day stuff (including my travel which I get back) so that I can actually get my cashback and then fling it at Beast. They (the cc) said unless my cashback was a minimum of £10 by Jan then they wouldn't pay anything. I asked them that back in July and my cashback then was £4ish, its now nearly £8 (sep statement) so I'm hoping that I can make a decent amount. I pay back what I use on Beast (whilst paying what I can to the balance on it) so you may see the level go up and down.
Heading off to bed shortly as the last few nights I have procrastinated and done other non-productive stuff and ended up being quite late going to bed and I'm up early.
So I'll say night night all. See you all tomorrow.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Thanks H.A.W. couldn't believe seeing her. Can't believe I ever called her a friend.
Various announcements at work, waiting to hear how everything will work out.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! But the same with friends as it is with boyfriends - you gotta experience all the crappy ones to then appreciate the good ones
Fingers crossed for workWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
It was a friend H.A.W. or ex friend rather, ex-boyfriends...... they just make my blood boil....
Just paid £6 to Beast and £2 to Goliath (I'm trying to pay any extra money I have to the debt. i.e. say I had 52.60 in my account the I would remove £2.59. Leaving the penny means even if I take out my last tenner there's still money in my account). I'll update my totals later.

I knowI've had to say 'bye' to a couple of what I thought were really good friends. They were sucking me dry I guess. I'm naive and they took advantage of my good nature.
I prefer to stick with the true friends who actually do care about meJust paid £6 to Beast and £2 to Goliath (I'm trying to pay any extra money I have to the debt. i.e. say I had 52.60 in my account the I would remove £2.59.
