Just think that they would £100 a night for a hotel a night so they were lucky it was free!0

God, that sounds even worse Loopy!! I would NOT be able to cope for a whole week - I'd end up either being arrested or in the loony bin!!
Had a lovely weekend. OH and I went to Basingstoke on Saturday just to look around (didn't spend anything!!). We then went to Chiquitos for a meal in the evening (was so busy, but had a lovely meal) and finished off the day by seeing Skyfall. Now, I've never seen a James Bond film and just kind of dismissed them, but I really enjoyed it. So much so, that I watched Casino Royale last night on Sky. Not sure I could watch all of the Bond movies, but I've been converted in terms of the recent ones.
OH is going on holiday from Thursday to Wednesday next week, so I'm going to have the flat all to myself :j. Got some free tickets to a movie on Tuesday next week, so my friend and I are going and we're going to have a meal beforehand.

Evening all
Sorry I haven't posted recently. Well, I'm ill, again!! Stinking cold and the dreaded night cough. Came on Friday and I've been feeling rotten all weekend. There's just this constant tickle in my throat and it's making me cough 80% of the time at the moment, which in turn has left my stomach and chest aching like mad. Not sleeping much. Had to sleep on the sofa in the end as I threw up all over my bed and couldn't face changing the sheets at 3am _pale_. Think I got a couple of hours on the sofa.
Good job OH is away this week. I had a load of MS jobs lined up, but have had to cancel them as I'm just not up to it. I have been doing some questions, so I have been earning some money. Was supposed to be going out for a meal and free film tomorrow night, but that has also gone out the window. Don't think I would be very popular in a cinema at the moment.
Worse thing is that I have the hospital on Friday. This will be the second time in a row I've gone there with a cold, so they won't be too impressed. Also means I have to drive to Southampton possibly on very little sleep. Not a good idea.
I can't believe it's only 49 days until Christmas. How did that happen?? I'm so unprepared this year, I'm actually starting to panic about getting everything I need to. I have £20 in Amazon, £5 on the way and a £10 M&S voucher. Very envious of my sister at the moment. She has got the majority of the kid's presents from her Amazon vouchers and has just got £450 from my mum's Christmas savings club that she has been saving throughout the year. Think there's a lesson there!!
Anyway, I am going to concentrate on getting some vouchers together this week (even surveys aren't too taxing for the sleep-deprived!!). Let's see if I can build up enough by the end of the week so I can order my mum's present (£80, of which my sister has already given me half in cash, but I want to put that £40 towards other presents).
Better start thinking about trying to get some sleep. Don't take sleep for granted everyone, because when you can't get any, it is one of the most frustrating feelings in the world!!
Night night

Thanks GRC, Lou, Beccie and MT :A.
I had an even worse night's sleep, which I didn't think was possible. I was so tired and frustrated that I sat there in tears at 3am.
I've just contacted the hospital and basically refused to drive up there on Friday, as the chances of me getting a decent night's sleep before then are slim to none. I thought they would have offered to send some patient transport to pick me up or something, but they just said they would cancel the appointment and send me another one!! Didn't seem very bothered by the fact I was ill at all. If I still feel rough next week, I'll go and see my GP instead.

I'm good thanks Lou :A.
I've started a new diary, as this one is slightly redundant now.
