You lose everything when they find against you.
And they will.0 -

It's about time for you to post a google earth reference for where it happened.
was there any cctv?
If so you the points you'll get together with the 6 points from your Red light/speeding incident will be enough to get you banned.
Hasn't he just passed his test? Not a ban then, but revocation of his licence.0 -
in a situation like this normally you pay the excess to have your car assessed before any liability is saught by the insurers. then once liability is established its either kept or refunded if found not at fault.
your premiums will rise regardless of fault.
i hope you declaired that there a possible pending points coming your way, if not uh oh insurance void!.0 -
In answer to your question, if the insurance company finds in your favour, then all the costs are claimed off the other party and you do not have to pay the excess. If you are found liable, the insurer will pay out the third party. The excess only applies to your own claim, so if you are deemed to be at fault then they will knock the excess off your award to repair the damage.
Sounds to me that the other driver was at fault based on your description although the fact you didn't try to avoid the accident might make it less clear cut, not sure if they would still award you not at fault or go 50:50.0 -

OP,
Difficult to comment without seeing the road layout Can you post a google map link?
If you are saying her lane and yours were both marked as exiting at the junction and neither lane continued on the roundabout after the junction then she may be in the wrong.
I doubt the total cost of the damage is trivial and the cost of the work will include an element for courtesy cars if you have this option. You say she had a minor damage to the headlamp butthey will still replace it and some headlamps cost over a £100Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

I was in the second lane here
continue going in the second lane here...
in the second photo, she was in the 1st lane, speed up, indicated to try and move over across my lane and go to the 3rd or 4th exit. Accident happened just before I got into the exit. I indicated to come off the roundabout I stayed in the lane throughout.0 -
I know that roundabout , 5 ways Birmingham.
If you were already on the island as explained the 3rd party will be held accountable, I am concerned though at the comments that you are a troll, and this appears more true, since you fail to answer certain questions, what did the 3rd party driver say at the time?0 -
OP...have you got a passport?never chew the umbilical cord!!0
