The loan agreement states 60 months with total PPI of 2,328.60 including interest, you should have had this amount back, less the rebate, the interest on the PPI is included in the monthly PPI payment.

2,328.60 less the 2 months you did not pay the PPI of 38.81 = 2,250.98 less the rebate of 954.80 leaves redress of 1,373.80, this includes the charges adjustment amount, you need to ask them why the figures do not add up,

The £2328.60 is on your agreement as being the PPI total with interest.
Look at the figures in the right hand side box at the top of the agreement, this is the PPI total with interest, the figures on the left hand side are the loan money you borrowed and the interest on that.

Tell them that the original PPI and the interest was more than the redress they have given you and ask them for a breakdown of the actual figures they have to get to the redress they have paid you and ask them for the 8%.

I have just finished righting a letter what do you think should I add any thing else.

    ! Deaf Sir/Madam ! Re:Agreement Number
    !
I am wrighting to you in relation to a recent payment you have made to me as a result of miss-sold PPI. !

In June/July of this year I was in contact with Car Gient about miss sold PPI, they wrote back to me stating that they would be forwarding the details onto you as they are not the ones that handle PPI claims. !

Shortly afterwards I received conformation that you had received the details and that you would be dealing with this matter. You also informed me that the PPI would be canceled from my account and that this would resulting a change to my last 2 monthly payments taking it from £182 to £159. And that a refund would follow after that and could take up 6week's. !

In October I received a payment from you debited into my back account for the amount of £1116.28p how ever this amount does not seem correct in relation to my paper work. As is states in the key financial information section of my agreement that for a total of 60 months the total payment is £2328.60 and there is also a figure for of £1431.60 as total payment protection. Also it does not look like any interest was paid back on this amount. ! I there for can not see how you came to the figure that you have paid me. !

I would be gratefull if you could could look into mthis matter and explain as to how you got to this and recalculate this claim. !

I have also included included the FOS PPI Questionnaire should you need it. !

I look forward to hearing from you.

All you put here is.....I have received a refund of PPI that was mis sold, I would like you to take a look at the figures again as I believe this payment is wrong.

The original PPI total including interest was £2328.60 over 60 months, I made 58 payments to the loan at the time of redress and would like to know the full calculations of this redress.

The whole PPI amount with interest should have been taken off the loan balance, the PPI that I paid for 58 months should have been returned to me along with the 8%, less the rebate.

I would like a full breakdown of this loan account to show how this was worked out, the rebate and the credit that was applied is not explained in full on the paperwork that you have sent, please give this your urgent attention.
    Regards ( your name )

As I explained before with the calculation, the PPI interest is included in the PPI that you get back, this is not an extra payment you get.
