ppi payment received does it seem right?

Morning all just a quick check really.

I have just had my PPI sent back to me from my car payments. Done via my self from righting to them.

They paid £1116 this was over a 5 year payment.

When the ppi was cancelled i had 2 car payments left which took my monthly payment for 185 to 159.

I have not yet had the paper work but dose this payout seem right.

dont know, you havent said how much your premium was or if there was a rebate if any when it was cancelled (i suspect not). but based on your monthly payment it looks about right.

Hi again just follow up question on this, still not sure if this is right, i have now received my letter show a breakdown of the last few payments as this account is now paid off.

It shows on there that the money sent was just what was cancelled.

What info would any one need to help me with this?

How much you actually paid and how much you got back. Why not post the breakdown you received?

If the total you paid originally for PPI was 1431.40 then, yes, it's wrong.

If you look at those two jpgs, on the bottom of the second one it says Total Price for Payment Protection Plan= £1431.40.

  • I cant remember who I had loans with or when I took them out, but I know I was always told I needed payment protection to cover myself. How on earth do I go about reclaiming when I have no details or paperwork??
