i agree there with you, it's strange even though we're home all the time weekends are still something to look forward to :j

just put a load of soft tomatoes in the blender to do for some soup later & didn't put lid on properly :eek:

Hey everyone.:wave:

Had my midwife appointment today.:) Baby is growing okay and blood pressure is normal for me i.e.low.lol. I like my midwife. She's hilarious.

DH and I's second wedding anniversary tomorrow and on Wednesday we're going shopping for baby things.

Thursday I have my first appointment with my new CPN, but it depends on if I'm well enough to go or not, but they usually do home visits if I'm not.

We should hopefully have a new car on Saturday too, which means no more carsharing and that we can go out spontaneously when I'm well enough. It's so annoying having to plan things because if I'm not well that day then it kind of screws things up.

We've also gone from only having two vests for baby and no other clothes, to having clothes coming out of our ears.:rotfl: MIL used to deal in Ebay baby clothes and had a sort out under the stairs and has given us a load of clothes. I did offer her some money for them but she wasn't having any of it!

I hope you all have a lucky week. No wins for me yet so far this month but I did get my course grant through and a refund from the water company, so can't complain.

Well it's not a comp win but got £40 extra for my treat fund for when i go and visit bestie in November. Bought a scratchcard when i finished work and won £20. So claimed that and another £2 winner that was in my purse. Put thespare £2 on another scratchcard andwon another £20 so that's £40 all for me :rotfl:

Glad things are going well for you both LM & Becks.

DH has been studying routes etc for our trip to S.Wales. We are staying at a new Express by Hol Inn on the way down so been trying to sort directions out. That little area has so many interconnecting routes you have to be really careful.
DS2 been on the phone organising coming here with his stuff. We are going to have one room full of his and his brothers things. He is in the North of Scotland at the moment and has to go back to Borders and empty his flat by end of month and then get down here before getting to Manchester for flight to Oz. Its all go.

Also thanks Sheils got home to a copy of Carry the One to reviee from Waterstones. One of the very few i have gone for lately as was getting a few too many :rotfl: decided to only go for the ones i really really want to read also had a cheque for £10 for the comment TV Times published in September
