Morning all,

Does everyone remember Calvin & Hobbes - used to love them.

Well thats the weekend gone again! This year seems to be vanishing.
Starting to think about Xmas now. I have one or two small things put away for DD but that is all. Looks like both older boys will be in Oz and DS3 will be working on Xmas day so won't be our usual busy time. Will save a lot on the price of our turkey lol

I know what you mean about Xmas, I'm really panicking now when I hear how many weeks to go. We're just about keeping our heads above water....By the time we pay all the bills, wages gone!

Oh well....onwards and upwards and still job hunting! I'm sure of all the jobs applied for one of them will give me an interview!

Monday again? Really? Hopefully this week i might get luckier with a win or two. Last week my postie was very very quiet and I don't like it

Wingo know what you mean about bills and wages. Soon as mine go in they are out again just been adding up all things still to go out of mine. Doesnt leave me very much at all.

Good Morning all, walking on eggshells day here today. DH has just finished a run of 5 night shifts and he's always a little bit touchy because he won't go to bed in case he can't sleep tonight but is obviously really tired. I expect he'll doze most of the day anyway so he'd be better off in bed.

DD has gone back for her first day back at work after her hols, not a happy bunny. That first day back is horrible, so much can change in 2 weeks that you feel like a fish out of water.

Hope everyone gets some good news today

Thanks FireFly for your kind words, thats what I like most of all about the Inn (apart from the pictures of course) people are so kind and sympathetic and even though we don't know each other as such we feel as if we do. Thanks again.

Sheils, love the pics, hope DD gets on alright at work today. Can't imagine what it must be like to have DS1 away and DS2 going soon. Big hugs anyway.

Wingo fantastic pic today, hope you get sorted for a job soon.

Becks I agree, don't know where the money goes, the only way is to keep a tight reign on it. I check my bank everyday and have a diary for each week showing everything that has to come out so I can see at a glance where I am.

B.Sue - love the picture today, in fact they are all great.

Off to town a bit later to have lunch with DH.

Its funny how we all have that thing about Monday and again about Friday. Even though we are the retired now we still look forward to the weekend.

Postman brought me my Curiously Cinnamon this morning and then I won another box at 10am. You have to be really quick.

Well it was really misty this morning taking kids to school. Cleared up now and sun is out wonder if postie comes earlier.... :think:

It's so sad to think that this time last week poor April was happily in school wish we could turn back time.
