Evening all. Been trying to catch up with the TV comps for the past couple of hours. OMG those captchas are getting worse. It was bad enough when they were proper words but now they just seem to be random letters, I've had awful problems. Even DD reading them to me didn't help, they took forever to do.
Had a proper laugh this afternoon. Cooper has a habit of when he gets up on the settee, doing what can only be described as a headstand as he lies down. It's head down first then his body somehow twists down into the sleep position. He did it this afternoon and somehow his head went down between the seat cushions and the momentum carried his body over after him until he was literally on his head with his back legs up in the air and he was stuck there for a good few seconds. We just burst out laughing and as he managed to wriggle down he stuck his head under a pillow as though he was embarrassed. You probably had to be there to get it, but every time I think of it I have to chuckle. Why is the camera never handy when you need it?Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Lol Sue! :rotfl: why do dogs like to do that! Jasper lays outside the living room door with his legs up on the wall! You'd think he was squashed near the wall! Ever since he was a little pup he climbed onto the bottom stair to sleep as it goes into a triangle sort of shape. He's too big now but still sleeps there with his legs cocked up to the spindles!
Sheils, looks lovely there where you wentlove the fairground ride pic! Hope you enjoyed the shepherds pie
my DD made some savoury rice at school last week but didn't like the look of it so she binned it before she came home! Only told me when I was doing savoury rice for tea next day!
Enjoy Alton Towers Beckshavent been there for years! We are going to Flamingo land when kids are off for the day.
Love the Disney pic fire**flyI know what you mean about prices of rides now. I try to avoid fairs now, I feel guilty to the kids but having three kids and rides at £3 a go is ridiculous!
Thanks for the heads up Katiewow...a Porsche!
Watching xfactor, I think Ella is by far the best.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
barnabysue, your post has got me crying with laughter literally as my almost 3 year old does the same thing and i can picture him getting his head stuck just like your dog!StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0

I'm in Nailsea about as far north in Somerset as you can be without hitting Bristol.
I'm excited today as I will be going to my daughter's tomorrow & will see my grandson - he's crawling now after a long attempt to walk instead. This afternoon, when DH kicks me off the computer so he can do the family tree (boring) I'm going to do some baking - haven't decided if it's going to be cookies or cupcakes yet - not that I can eat either so it will be whatever inspires me at the time .proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
Got to work as the nice bus driver told me which stop to go to as no one else was about and no signs have been done. Think it may be chaos a bitlater for people.
Feel a bit better now i have eaten but not hundred percent.
Took a nice photo of a spiders web all covered in dew this morning will try put it up later after work£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Morning all, lovely day here today. We're finally going to do the food shop at Mr Ms this morning. Going to do it at the next town so DD can drop hers off at her place. She has a Chiropodist appointment here at 8 tomorrow before work so will stay here overnight.
I will never understand dogs Wingo. Cooper has a lovely bed in the living room but he will lay with his head in his box of part chewed chewies? We call him a speed bump because he also lays in doorways and slows everyone down!
DH has had good news about his request to cut his hours from the end of the year, final details to be confirmed but it looks like it will be the same job but without his own team, so none of the awful paperwork, it's better than he expected. He's very well thought of there and it's nice to see that he is appreciated.
You've made me think about doing some baking hamster, Ibought some 'proper' essences in Lakeland the other day so might make some cakes. Trouble is DD is on a diet and DH isn't really a fan of sweet stuff which just leaves me and Cooper
Have a good Sunday everyone xLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Happy Sunday!
Morning all,
It was really frosty here last night! The cars outside have all got frosty windscreens but the sun is out now. Really must get some more bushes cut back now that we have dumped the last lot.
Is it today you are off to your food fair FF? Have a lovely time if it is.
Glad your DH is getting the hours he wants BSue.
Must get on. SYL
