Hubby has had that on too sheils. He really enjoys it. Think it makes him realise that despite all his problems things are never as bad as some folks.

Glad I didn't know what peeps were saying about postmen when my DH was working! :rotfl:I found the best way to get my mail early was to marry the postman - it still comes reasonably early as DH made the round to suit himself and it has never really changed.

Think they deserve every penny they charge as the stalls in those fairs are very expensive and they have to stand all day in the cold. It was the cold that made us give up in the end.

i agree it's hard work, i don't ever mind if the prices are higher as the work that's involved/standing all day/serving/putting up with some of the public :eek:
the workers/stall holders deserve every penny :A
i did see a few blokes going from stall to stall sampling all the cask ales/bottled ales etc :eek: never bought anything so it was just a pi$$up day for them goodness knows how they got home :eek:

We had three Guide Dogs in today with their owners raising money for the charity. They were adorable. Does your DH have one fire*fly?

DH would probably qualify now but he doesnt want one for the time being. He doesn't really think he has the lifestyle suited for the dogs
