More snow overnight but not too much. It was lovely earlier but looking very grey now so think more snow on it's way. Got to go to Galashiels shopping today so hope the roads are okay. Hopefully my new (bargain) nighties, bras and knickers will be waiting for me in M&S

Sheils - I must get over your way one day. We'll wait till the weather is better though. It's not that long ago that I learnt how to pronounce it. I used to read it as it's spelt.

Morning all, woke up here to a light dusting of snow, again but expect it will clear soon.

Good for Kirkcudbright, sheils sounds a nice place to visit

Had a great night at The Blues Brothers last night, very good show and the musicians and singers/dancers were fab.

I was really wanting to see the whole list of "cool places to live" but can't access it. Maybe SueM could get it for us if she pops in. I think she subscribes to The Times. There were only 3 Scottish towns made it to the list I think.Kirkcudbright is very pretty with a castle and churches in the centre and a pretty working harbour, marina, river walks etc but really there isn't much to do here. Can't understand why so many visitors come although a lot are staying in Holiday Parks.There are beaches for when the weather is nice. Usually have a big art Exhibition in the summer and there are permanent Galleries too.

The one morning I'm out and I get a missed delivery from City Link! Worse still they won't attempt a redelivery until the next working day.....Tuesday. Arrrggggghhhhhhhh suspense. No idea what it might be

I was just saying to hubby this morning when I opened wardrobe...I would love to just bin all the old drab clothes of mine and get a completely new wardrobe!

I need to go food shopping today but kids don't seem to want to get out of their pj's! Think I need to set some ground rules this fortnight!

Good luck getting kids out of their PJs. I am glad DD has a job these holidays.

I won an egg from Wonga two years ago ILC and it was just a little one with a Mars bar I think.
