Sorry wasn't in much yesterday. Had a text yesterday afternoon off a friends wife to say he had passed away on wednesday morning. So very sad he was only 35

Late again, this is becoming a bad habit. Benn sorting through email etc etc. Time just flies.

Cold here too. Got lots to do today as got to get ready as going to DD's for most of next week. Going to Sisters tomorrow to take the dogs and then on to DD's on Sunday. Need to get some cleaning done before I go.

Becks - so sorry about your friend, so young too.

iluvcats - could you not sleep today? I noticed your post at 5.33am?

Sheils - looks like you are having a lovely time and breakfast sounds good although I couldn't think of eating fish for breakfast. Did DD go with you this time or is it just you and DH?

FireFly - what a lovely pic you put on for me last night, thanks. I had an email on Tuesday saying they were sending curry that day as I said I wanted it before the weekend if possible. They said they were posting it that day but it still hasn't arrived. Funny how some things come almost immediately and others take months.

Just received the 3 Fruity pots I won the other day which look rather nice.

Wingo - looks like the kitchen/extension is going to take a long time to do. Is you DH doing it himself?

Yeah Sylvia, hubby insists on doing a lot of the work himself! didn't you know I married superman? (not) He can fit windows and he is fairly ok at DIY but it just takes time. If it saves us money I suppose I'll have to live with it.

Alfie, I watched Magdalene Sisters too, one of my fave films Crispina died in the mental hospital she was sent to shortly after (aged 24), Margaret (Ann Marie Duff) never married but became a school teacher, Rose married and had children and found her son 33 yrs later, and Bernadette opened her own salon and married and divorced (I think) and died in 1996. It's a great film isn't it, shocking to know what happened in them convents.

We decided to have a lie in today as we were all tired but I remembered I hadn't put bin out at 6am...bin men come just before 7am so hubby run down to put it out and let the dog out for a bit
Just hoping postie brings something nice today!

Sheils, I am envious! Love that meal! Had it before it is so tasty!!!! Would have it again if it was cooked for me! Also the full breakfast - though I leave out the sausage and bacon (veggie) but still enjoy hash browns, beans, egg, toms, mushrooms, fried bread etc etc - anything that can be piled on the plate really!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh wingo, thank you for update re film :A I did google this morn out of curiosity - loved the film, but then couldn't get back to sleep re thinking about it and mulling it over in me mind!!!!

I see most of it was filmed in Scotland too. Very very sad ending for one of them girls, at a young age

Just been doing some comps and noticed 3 or 4 that have stated that they are dupes and that merges have been requested but never done. Had a quick look and noticed Mrs Tine hasn't logged in since January 30th, maybe they were sent to her, hope everything's okay with her.

Washing machine was supposed to be coming tomorrow from the comp that ended end of November. It was with Prima magazine/Service. After a long list of delays Argos agreed to delivery this to me 23rd Feb between 7 - 1. As we were waiting in especially before travelling down to DD's I though I would ring and check as had a funny feeling about it as they promised to deliver in December and didn't. When I rang Argos to check they said the order had been cancelled and couldn't tell me why as the order wasn't in my name. I have rang the lady who I have spoken to previously at Prima and she is working at home today. They say they will call her and get her to ring me. I feel physically sick with it all now and could cry.

Sorry - rant over, it does you good to get if off your chest sometimes and hope you don't mind my rant.

What do you all think I should do?

Oooooh! I must apologise to all true vegetarians who have read my post further above.

I am actually a pescatarian, though mainly take to veggies and dairy products which would explain that. Alf xxxxxx

Aw Sylvia, I really feel for you xx they're really messing you around with the washing machine. If they don't come to an agreement and prima don't get back to you, try emailin them again and say ...seeing as you have now disposed of your old washing machine...that you will get in touch with Edwin Mutton (ISP I think ) to take it further. Hope they get it delivered for you soon :kisses3:

Sue, I've just had cheese on toast too! It was the quickest thing I could think of seeing as I can't find where I've put anything!
