Just had a text from Katie (Tulip) her internet hub is faulty so she might be offline for a few days and she hopes no-one worries about her, she is hoping she will be back sooner.

previously I put the bookcase in my hall (temporarily, during another musical furniture event) and bashed into it knocking the contents flying!!!
Now it's safely on top of another!



Anybody take advantage of the £5 (off £50) Tesco online groceries? I used it (gratefully) to offset my delivery charge tmw!!

Hi Everyone - sorry I haven't been in much today but have had some catching up to do after having GS.

Sheils - so glad you are having a good time and I hope the meal is nice. Take care travelling home.

Wingo - Hope the kitchen doesn't take too long to do, its awful living out of boxes especially in the kitchen.

Toniq - thank you for letting us know, we would have worried she is OK.

iluvcats - the pic of the meter takes me back, remember granny had one but it was the old shilling she used to put it.

Firefly - thanks for posting take a bread so quickly for us.

Think its going to be freezing here tonight. When I went to the hearing aid clinic this afternoon they we out gritting all the hospital grounds.

Hope we get some warmer weather soon.

It's quite nippy ere too Sylvia, hope we dont get the white stuff again!
Me & DH have been discussing the kitchen again as its an awkward kitchen and we are now thinking again about the extension instead of just knocking through to dining room so I expect it will take longer! (I'm sure he'll change his mind again! He changes his mind as much as he changes the tv channels! )

Hope Katie gets her Internet on soon

ILC...I remember when mam had the meter on the leccy and radio rentals tv! she used to put washers in sometimes instead of coins! it was embarrassing when they came to empty it!
