Just a quick hello from me while I wait to get in the shower!
Really looking forward to breakfast - I'm starving. Must be all the walking we did yesterday.

Good morning!!!

Soooooo cold here ff:eek: - sky full of something, hope it is not yon white stuff!! :eek: !!!!!! birds feeding away, reckon another top up will be required later!!!

Alf is gonna be tired today ......... couldn't settle last night so made meself a hot chocolate and watched The Magdalene Sisters (never seen it before). Once started I had to watch it to the end, didn't want to miss a second of it - never stayed up so late since I was a young thing!!!!!

My only frustration is when the credits came up and the info about the girls and how life had treated them in the following years ........ I wanted to know but the info was gone in a flash, no time to read by the time I had focused me eyes!!!! Will have to google later.

Have just had the best breakfast we have ever had! I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toasted T-cake and DH the most enormous cooked breakfast I have ever seen. Everything was locally sourced and the jams, breads etc were amazing. The scenery from the diningroom is wonderful too with Skidaw looming over it and other mountains to the otherside. Can't move now and feel better about paying £59 lol
