Very cold and not nice here!!! Heating on and, yep I do worry about the bill, but blow me, I gotta stay warm!!! Do my best, wrapped up warm, but I know we haven't got it as bad as some.May venture out later for a walk, because I always feel better getting some fresh (freezing ) air, thermals on, walking stick to hand and onwards and upwards
Hope DD is okay Sheils, the bugs can fairly wipe you out. I can remember those school days. (Not mine so muchbuts the kids). xxxxxx

Aw that's awful sheils when your DD can't even be I'll in peace! When you're I'll you don't feel like doing anything anyway!
It's snowing really heavy now here just as I'm about to take kids to school (I'm dreading this _pale_) don't blame you staying Sue!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
We have heating on full blast Alf. It is quite a big cold house so the bills are always serious especially now our last deal is finished. You keep warm anyway.
DS3's PS3 is arriving between 10.27 and 11.27 so won't be going out before then. It is great when they tell you when a packet is coming.
DH says your area was mentioned in the news wingo. Hope you are all OK. We seldom get snow so I never know what to do when it does come. DH does as he lived in N. Wales when he was a teenager until his mid 20s.
DH is making some porridge for us now.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning everyone, didn't get in here much yesterday as busy putting together the family history I've been working on-very pleased with the result and hope the recipient is equally pleased
Cold, clear and frosty here today, the west seems to be missing the worst of the weather. I did venture out to the PO yesterday and it was very cold so stayed in for rest of the day.
OH set off yesterday for his first Physio appointment since leaving hospital- organised his son to pick him up and was back in 15 minutes- his appointment is TODAY  He had even written it on the calendar in the kitchen but still got it wrong...I despair. Can see I will have to check for him in future :rotfl:
Keep warm and safe everyone.0 -
Glad someone else lives on the west ellemm - begining to think I was the only one. You despair of men sometimes don't you?:rotfl:Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Back from our walk, Brrrrr it was cold, that wind was freezing!
DD had a package delivered the other day sheils, and she had a text saying it would be delivered between 10:47 & 11:47, sure enough the package arrived, but he wouldn't hand it over until 10:47 because they were in trouble if they delivered outside of that time frame, she had to wait 2 minutes until 10:47 before she could sign!Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Half my deliveries seem to be thrown in the porch and the guy drives off. Some drivers seem to be huffed if I appear to sign as I'm keeping them back.
The wristbands I won from the comp I didn't enter arrived - all the way from Australia! :rotfl:Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

That's great when you can win from a comp you haven't entered Sheils!
Where my mum lives delivery drivers have to lock their van up before knocking on a door as someone will probably take off with their van or goods!
Oh dear ellemm, hope OH got to his app ok!
I would love to do a family history tree too, I did start one and got messages from relatives all over the country I hadn't met but when I asked my parents about it they didn't want to know so I think some things are best left unsaid!
Did Finlay like the snow Sue? Jasper seems to love it now, he's jumping around like a kangaroo in it!
Taking the kids to school wasn't too bad, it's more colder indoors than outside! It was a bit of a blizzard earlier but more settled now. I guess the schools will be out earlier so I better wait in for the call!
Well done on the bibs win fire**fly :T
Good idea with juicing the oranges. The amount of fruit I throw away is unbelivable! If I make smoothies for the kids they won't eat them now.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
