Hi, late in today, wanted to clean out some of the kitchen cupboards so thought I had better get that done first.

Just had the Bumble and Bumble Gift set that Fred won last week. OMG how do people afford to use it. It was all full size bottles as well. Went on their site and priced it all up and for the 6 hair products that are in the box it would cost £142!! Not sure I can bring myself to use it yet.

Firefly, well done on the dribble bib, Fred says that we could do with that for when we eat our soup.

Wingo - hope you manage to sort the roof. What is it with men and DIY, mine is useless too.

Katie - glad you had a lovely morning out. We have a Morrisons a bus ride away and we love it.

B.Sue - could do with getting our slow cooker out as well, it seems to spend most of its time in the cupboard.

Sheils - big hugs for your DD and hope she feels better soon.

Alfie - I love porridge as well especially with a big dollup of Yogurt on.

Ellemm - hope DH's physio goes ok and that he will soon be able to drive.

Must try and get some comps done now.

Did you see the news about kids getting arrested if they throw snowballs? tbh...when I go to mams they wait on nearby roundabout and pelt the cars with snowballs...some huge ones too...and they throw mud balls! If they can cause an accident they should be arrested.

ILC...I loved mrs B last night too! When they were all waiting for her to die at 11 o clock Winnie was funny too!

I've come to the conclusion my postie doesn't like me...:o he never brings anything anymore and at Xmas when I gave him a small bottle of whiskey to say thanks.....he just took it and said 'oh right!' my old postie was jolly and friendly...this ones a miserable git! think i'll snowball him tomorrow!! :whistle:

Just realised we missed Mrs Bs Boys last night - blast. We were watching so many things last night we forgot about it. Think it is repeated on Saturday night. I've just upset DH by telling him we missed it. We were watching Lewis when it was on last night I think.

DH used to get lots of bottles when he was a postman wingo. Used to love it when he got wine!

Well done on the iTunes voucher - I love winning them! Hope you find something nice to buy. I had a nice walk too although it was a bit slippy in some places.

All I can say is Whow....what a lovely prize. Must admit wouldn't have bought one as they seem expensive but what a gem.

Made a vegie soup with carrots/sweet potatoe/sweede/parsnip (700gms) 3 vegie stock cubes,salt, pepper and corriander and about a pint of water. It makes 1.6 litre which is the maximum.

Switched it on, sorted out my veg and fish for tea and 21mins later, hey presto, beautiful soup.

It didn't boil over my cooker top like a pan would, easy to clean and best of all can anyone guess how much electricity it used????? We have one of those meter things from Southern Electric so know just how much it cost.

Someone on the forum has won £2500 with Real Deal today how brilliant is that. I am so pleased for them. Its nice as well as peeps often think they won't win going by the forum.
