Sylvia, I know exactly what you mean about teens! DD1's school only allow their school coat on the premises so DD won't take one, nor will most of the pupils as they get bullied for wearing one! It's a good walk to school from front school gate too! They stop all pupils and check their coats, uniforms and shoes, if they don't have the right ones they get sent home for correct ones!

It is such a shame about hmv ILC, all the years it's run, it will probably still run online I imagine like woollies & Adams.

Hope all is well,This morning I went to my cofee group and I had a lovely time I came home for lunch and then walked down to Morrisons as we have one now in my area yay,its first day was today and I did a great shop.I have left facebook perminately as my countries location keeps changing.

It's stopped snowing here fire**fly and just raining instead so my bloomin roof is leaking again! I hope it's not slippy outside tomorrow.

Good news on morrisons opening near you Katie, are you spoilt for choice now with supermarkets? We have all near us (short drive away) morrisons, Asda, tesco, aldi, lidl, sainsburys

Yes,it is annoying about fb.I am spoilt for choice,we have a co-op near me,newsagent and some £1 shops more choice in the next town but our new Morrisons will do really well I love it there and I know I will continue to use the store for my big food shop.

I've had someone out before to fix it but it got worse and the bloke has since died my hubby thinks he's invincible and is too stubborn to get anyone else in! I think I need to take a DIY course or nothing will get done!

Just looked out and the snows laid again! Looks like there'll be lots of schools closing this week!

Morning all, very wet and cold here but happily no snow. Nothing planned for today that involves leaving the house apart from dog walking so I should get some decent comping done. Think I will get the slow cooker going this morning, a hearty stew is called for

Good Morning,

Feeling left out with all the snow stories! It is frosty here this morning though. Got up as I thought I heard one of the "kids" up and wanted to see if they were Ok but no sign of anyone when I came down. Hope DD is OK today. Last night she was doing homework that a teacher had told one of her friends to tell her to do. They can't even be ill in peace nowadays!
Know only to well about teenagers Sylvia - hate them most of the time!

Edit: DD got up and got her clothes etc sorted out and then had to go back to bed. She is stiil really white looking. There is always something going around at that school.
