I'd be interested to hear about the soup maker too, now that DH is working less days he's here for lunch more often and a bowl of soup is a nice filling meal.

    Hi everyone!

Had a real fun afternoon (NOT!) Looking for a good PS3 deal for DS3 as his one has just died. I wanted to get him a new one for Xmas but he said no so now a lot of his stuff is on the old one and not sure how he can get it. He is talking about paying to fix it to get everything off it but hopefully there is another way. I managed to find out how to get his trapped game out which cost £40 and he got for Xmas. (Internet has its uses) Found him a decent deal anyway from Shoptonet but its site was really difficult to use although I have used it before without problems. If it doesn't come tomorrow it will be my fault though :(

Ooooooh! Well done to all the Inn winners again today!!!! :j:j

Sending out happy birthday wishes with much love. xxxxx

Sheils - big hugs for DD xxxxx - hope she is feeling a wee bit better now. There are some horrible bugs that seem to be doing the rounds at the mo.

The soup maker sound fab. Would love one myself - always love a good bowl of soup, preferably home made (tho shop bought potato and leek makes a good stand in). Sounds ideal. Looking forward to hearing how it goes. I always have veggies here so reckon I could make good use of one. Will have to look into them. You do make me giggle sylvia; following the footprints in the snow (another Miss Marple in the making!) :D

Well, been very chilly here all day, so fire has been on most of the day much to the puddy cats delight!!! Absolutely purrrrrfect as far as she is concerned. :D

She's been draped across the sofa in front of the fire, then bit of a wash going on, then back to sending up the zzzzzz's!

Just got to watch that she doesn't have a 'claws and sharpening/ manicure session' on top of the sofa  - something she is very fond of doing (poor sofa), even though she has various scratching posts!!! :o

    Love to all. Alf xxx

    Oh Sheils!! Not good news!:(

Wish my son was here, he had exactly the same few years back (blooming technology!!!). Think I can recall him saying something about the 'yellow light of death' Gruesome.

I know he managed to get his trapped game out but can't recall if he managed to retrieve his other stuff.

It may be worth your while trotting over the the 'techie forum' on here and ask them for advice. They are a clever bunch and someone may be able to help. Worth a try. xxxxxx

Ooh doesn't sound too promising then with PS3's....was debating about getting son one for his birthday but decided on a BB playbook instead. He already has an Xbox and its a battle to get him off that!
What about a separate hard drive Sheils? Will that help to retrieve his stuff? (sorry I'm not very techie! :o)

Well done on your wins Sue & Becks :T your fave stuff Becks, I bet you still have lots from last year eh? :p

Glad you got your first win of the year pms :) I've won a cereal bar so far this year, :D some other little wins were from Xmas what I was waiting on!

Glad you got your soup maker Sylvia! :j

Hope you get your wins soon fire**fly ;) well done on your Hobbit win! :T was it a book?

Hi Alfie, hope the puddy is warm now! I don't think I've heard Boris the Spider....(might have seen him )

    Great pics ILC :)

Been to take DD for hospital appointment. She's losing weight so I need to get her to eat more and take some iron too. I'm not overly worried about her now things are progressing :)

Just had a lovely spag Bol for tea ;) I much prefer tescos mince to morrisons, you can taste the difference.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
