is my mums birthday today been told i can phone between 4pm and 7pm as shes got stuff planned

Just a dusting of snow overnight but now its heaving down. We were going to catch the bus into Chester-le-Street but will have to have a change of plan. Fred is laughing as we were going there to get his hair cut. He has this knack of keep putting it off, any excuse will do. Looks as if he has got one over on me yet again.

B.Sue - you had an early start today, nice of you to get up to take your DD to the station.

Indie - Well done on the shopping bag.

Sheils - well done on the mug. Sweet n low seem to being kind to the Inn at the moment. Sorry your DD is sick and hope she feels better soon.

FirFly - love the snowy animal pictures, Fred says thanks too, he always looks at the pics on here, they cheer us both up.

Hope the snow doesn't get too bad as DD has a late exam at Teeside Uni at about 5pm and the village where she lives is usually cut off when its bad so she may have trouble getting back. I suppose she could go to Sisters in Hartlepool if push comes to shove.

Will maybe see if we can get into Durham if it doesn't get too bad as we have been in all weekend apart from dogie walks.

Fingers crossed for your DD's exam Sylvia. Hope she manages to get to it ok, it is laying here now in Teesside but by 5pm it might clear up again!

Brrrrr, cold here. No snow but it's chilly! Fire is on. Managed to venture out and post some letters, visit the local store etc.

Back home now and staying in the warm.

Loving everyones snow pics. I have just had a lovely walk in the sunshine here. Hope everyone and their pets are OK. DD has been sleeping all morning so hopefully will feel better when she wakens. She says a few of her pals were off school with it on Friday.
