i still haven't put the heatong on once in the flat yet as we have silly storage heaters which obly heat between midnight and 7am and then stay warm throughout the day. I think it's pretty pointless to put the on whn DH opens the window in the middle of the night :rotfl:

One of the Advent prizes I won on Saturday night arrived today. A studded Gothic hair decoration. They sent me an email yesterday to say it had been sent. That was a quick delivery and they sent a beautiful card with a personal message on it.
I am staying up later at night doing the Advent comps and up again at 6.15am to get a few in before going to work.
Really freezing here as well. Of course my oil heating packed in on Monday night. I can light a fire which is ok but only heats the room I am in. Phoned for more oil today hoping they would deliver it today but no sign of it.
fire**fly will help myself to a macaroon, they look lovely. Will go well with my wee cup of tea before I head to bed.
Do you think my Lucky Buddha brought you luck all those I sent it too on FB. Did try last night to put it on the Inn but can't manage pictures. If anyone else wants to put it on feel free.
Plenty of news in the Inn, very hard keeping up with all the news and doing all the comps at the same time.

Working for me so far plus rubbed the buddha's belly on here the other day.

I got an email saying she had passed my query on about the dress. Have to see now if anyone gets in touch. I am so impatient :rotfl:

Thanks fire**fly just sipping my cuppa before I go to bed. Getting later and later each night.
Becks and wingobins glad the Buddha is working. I believe it is working for me too. I have won several prizes since Saturday, 2 on Hillarys Blinds which I don't think I will take them on. A free pair of tiebacks when I buy a pair of curtains and some other curtain accessory.
wingobins I also use a steamer to defrost my freezer it does it in less than 30 minutes. I also use a hairdryer when there isn't too much ice.
Alfie Blue hope you are feeling in good form. I hurt my back over a week ago and I know how difficult it is trying to move about when you are in pain. It can bring you down. You seem to be keeping mobile so here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Take care in this chilly weather.
Right I must get to bed as 6.15 comes early and believe me I need my beauty sleep. SYL

Who would have thought of 2 harsh winters in a row when I didn't have/couldn't get the grippers. When I eventually got them last year no Snow!
