Not only did I not know lounges even existed before I came here .... but, even now, I know I will never go in one.

    It's a posh thing isn't it ...

I would feel out of place with all those facilities available to me :(

the only First Class that I have ever been in is an upgrade Rail Ticket for £5 on a Sunday years ago to go into First Class Carriage.

lir, I have never handwashed a bra ( that probably answers, though not necessarily, the question of my gender)
    QUOTE]

My husband always washes my bra's in the machine. Wired ones never squeak although he does tell me when he as thrown an article of underwear out informing me he thinks it has "given up the struggle".

I experienced a power cut last year when I was flat sharing.... before that the last power cut I remember of more than 1-2 minutes was back in the 1970s when there was a 3 day week on..... do you lot live in the third world?

No. Its the countryside. Where you only get services that can be spared from other more populated places.

Creak when you walk, bounce or what?

I thought there was only one wire (in each cup) so don't understand what it is creaking against.

I only ever machine wash and have never encountered this problem. Maybe the wires have been pushed out of shape?

Cal when I move.....walk, bend, lift......

What has everyone else been up to?:)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

What will really happen if you do not do some of the things on the list

    At all?
    Tonight?

Not if the worst came to the worst but most realistically.

    :o

should I be paranoid you lot are talking about me?:p

I'm ok, in myself. Seem to have lots going on around me - a case of seeing a lot of people being affected by things. I suppose I'm only indirectly affected.

What has happened here? What have I missed in the past 12 weeks(ish)?

Not at all - there was some confusion about StevieJ's sex, and viva mentioned that it could be another are they male or female situation like with you :)

    Updates:
lir has a squeaky bra, but is otherwise doing pretty well at the moment (touches wood, crosses fingers)

michaels found some very out of date condoms whilst in the throes of passion, then saved £150 on the next 12 months of broadband thanks to StevieJ

silvercar has been jetting around, and spending time in airport lounges

PN hadn't heard of airport lounges until silvercar mentioned them, but she is currently trying to rebuild her online empire

That is what comes to mind immediately...
