However as I said before the warranty does not exempt them from the sale of goods act under which I would have thought you would have a claim especially if the AA man suggests that a test of the battery prior to sale would have indicated that it was not perfect.I think....0 -

It does depend if a battery test is normally included as part of a full service or not?
He did vehemently state that no one ever tests the battery.0 -
Well, it appears most people had lovely weather yesterday...not us! It was gorgeous first thing and then fog descended before lunch time and didn't lift until after tea time, so it was cold, damp and murky.
Was nice here today though so that is something! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
My ongoing recruitment drive is falling to pieces. Best candidate withdrew, second best candidate came for second interview today and was pants. Unless one of the remaining 2 somehow improves dramatically on their first interview, I'm going to have to readvertise. What a pain in the arris.0

Can you get access to this site:
http://www.tv-replay.co.uk/
or that other site I posted a few days back that had live tv.
I can get that site, but it just links to iplayer, which won't let me watch directly.
Managed to watch live TV via the iPad and VPN, which is good enough for now. Will be buying a cheap TV and plugging the iPad into it soon. This is the other site that might be helpful, sc! Enjoy!
This one now requires payment to watch tv in another country, which is effectively what a VPN does.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You do something financial, don't you, chewy? And missk is a scientist. I would have thought her experiences of salary would be "realistic" compared with yours.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
