I think that I may feel that this maybe a 'dumb' question but anyways I will ask .. I thought that cheques always needed a signature .. I ask because my good Lady has for almost forty years looked after our accounts so I can be excused for appearing to seem a little dumb regarding this issue.:o

Unless you are paying them into an accomplices account, then no-one looks at your signature. By the time the bank cashier sees it there is no bank card to compare the signature to. From accomplices account another payment can be made with legitimate signature and bank card.

The only thing correct in that description is my height. Pale skin - slightly freckly, mousy brown hair, grey eyes.

    I love freckles.

I used to have freckles but I think they have mainly gone. But I have them on my arms now :(.

Mmm No wonder the Banks are in a big mess because Old Codgers like me put so much trust in them at least checking the signature of a cheque. I feel as though I am living in the past.
Thanks for that info' its scary.

Most banks you have to wait 7 days before a cheque clears so as long as the person who's account it is drawn on notices in that time I guess the funds can be frozen before they get moved on.

Lucky this didn't happen when you were on holiday SC.

michaels and silver, have heard that the local hospitals in St Albans, Watford and Hemel are to charge for blue badge parking. I thought I'd mention in case it affects any of your family.

It might be just if you'#e logged on, but if you follow the link through to the username, then on the bottom left, "view all", then you can see how many miles it is from your postcode. You can then change your postcode to various ... until you find one that says it's close by.

Or .... contact the seller and ask them :)
