I have just asked Mr S this. He has said he would have loved me but he would not have been in a sexual relationship with me. I questioned further and he clarified this by saying he loves the dog and he does not want sex with him either.
Dh nods enthusiastically and says that's it exactly.0 -
I have just been looking out of the window. There has been no more snow today, but yesterday's snow is still lying in most places. I imagine the main roads are clear by now. However, my street has been churned up just enough, and has now refrozen. It looks like an ice rink now, especially on the corner where the street light shines on it.
My cold is getting worse again, and DD is not well either, so I don't think we'll be going to church tomorrow, but I am really not looking forward to Monday morning if the street is still in the same condition then as it is now.
I think at least half our depth of snow has melted
More snow to make things crunchy and safe pr would be nice for the yard. Tomorrow I will have to grit more as it gets more unsafe,0 -
We still have a fair bit of snow, our road is just big enough not to be covered (although there is a strip down the middle) but the less used parallel roads are still white) and we are due a fair bit more tomorrow but still not enough to give me a snow day on Monday
Bit worried about DS today, yesterday he suddenly had a vomiting bug then managed to eat a bit of dinner and hold it down then sneezing, snot and temperature this AM then suddenly had what appeared to be an allergic reaction to toast and jam this morning even though he is only officially allergic to some nuts. Piriton sorted it out but now his temperature is going out of control, even with calpol and ibuprofen he is 39.6I think....0 -
Oh poor little chap. Awful for him, and awful for you and your DW as well.
Thoughts and prayers coming in your direction.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Seeds in the bread? My mate has the full on nut allergy (has woken up twice in intensive care now) and he has a mild reaction to some seeds.
I'd be getting some medical attention in your position. It's bad if you can't get the fever to abate with drugs. Get thee on the phone to thine local out of hours service.0 -
I have no idea what temperature I got to ... I've no thermometer. I lived though ... and now I've just got a cough/cold and bit of a rough stomach (which I think is lack of food). Thank goodness as I'd be having to drag myself into work Monday however I felt, can't afford to lose a day's pay!0

.....and it's snowing again around our way.
It's -1.2C , so it should settle nicely.0 -
Michaels, hope your DS is feeling better. Poor little thing0

Michaels, please keep an eye on him and don't be scared to call the out of hours service if his erratic temp does not settle down.
Our road still has snow and is still eek even though the last snow we had was Thursday evening and a bit overnight. We have major snow forecast today, I won't hold my breath though....will probably miss it again! (Famous last words there, you watch!)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
