    Yes, yes, yes.
They've had a lot of bad press and stereotyping, but most taste the same, where same=gorgeous. Get a good one and the taste is to die for.

I prefer to ask for "kebab meat only", partly because it's a huge portion, partly because I don't need the 100-120 calories of the pitta .... and I have a bit of chilli, no mayo and leave off the big green chilli (which I think is a pickled one).

Good chunky kebab meat ..... yum, yum, yum.

I love pitta bread. But only have shish kebabs. Usually though we make lamb or chicken marinated meat pittas at home. Marinating the meat requires forethought, but it's delicious, fresh and a health main meal.

Or was, till dh started buying those long thin green peppers fresh and stuffing them with feta cheese and grilling alongside the meat.....

The Takeaway Secret has the kebab recipe in it (elephant leg). It's only mince and a bunch of 5-6 fairly regular spices.... then you just squash it all together, shape it into a loaf, bake it in the oven, then shave it thinly with a sharp knife or one of those vegetable slicer machines.

It's on my To Do list - except it's a huge commitment to being able to scoff my way through 500grams (small pack of mince) without going mad.

I have a 5m usb cable I could post you.
Shame I only just saw this!!

I didn't know [a] there was such a thing any cable of such length would be usable.... I know some devices don't like to operate over cable more than 1m long.

If the offer's still open, then yes. I'll PM you my address in any case :)

That'd make it possible to, more easily, investigate new signal sweet spots and be able to use them.

    :)

Pastures, it is so lovely to have you back! We all missed you.

I like kebabs, but I'd have to share mine with you as I eat all of the stuff you don't and none of the stuff you do, except the pita, which is a PITA as we couldn't then share that bit.

I can't believe how well it's managed today.... sometimes I've come home from work and sat solidly from 5pm to about 10pm just trying to load Google and get one set of search results... and failed to achieve that.

I've got the laptop on a box and laptray on the floor... and I've just moved my lilo 2' along the floor, so seem to be getting a bit better signal here. It's still not staying connected though. Signal shows either 40% or 60% - when it's 60% then I stand a chance that with 3-4 hours of trying I might be able to use Google... but today it's surpassed itself :)

Washing was full of win ... I'd managed to be as careful as I could with my jeans at work for 2 weeks .... but couldn't wear them a 3rd week. Washed them this morning, then draped them on the towel rail to dry. Heating came on at 5pm and they are now completely dry :)

Gotta love things that work :)

I'm used to jeans taking 3-4 days to dry.

Hmm, nope. :(. But nearer. made me google what temps bath should be.

If labour have made a hot bath impossible I will personally doctor their soap on a rope.
