    Not as clueless as me.

I never realised Android was connected to google. And that it would load my phone with every email address that I've had contact with since 2005. So I can't find the very small number of phone numbers I actually use.:(
Sounds like something I need to find out about as my email account receives 200 emails/day, most of which are random things I signed up for online that I was/am vaguely interested in ... and, like you, there are actually only 3-4 proper email addresses I am interested in using.

Mind you, I'm impressed how cheap they are to use if you only use wifi in free places and not when you're driving about everywhere.:D
That sounds really good ... if only I understood what you actually meant by it. :)

I fear LIR may like it but to me it is just !!!!!! and i do like form to follow function and period to reflect actuality.

Anyone know an easy way to get everything form my old Android to my new one - it seems Titanium backup may be the answer but only if both phones are rooted. Th old one is already rooted (and flashed with a custom rom) but the new one seems more tricky - I have unlocked the boot-loader but don't really know what to do next :(

I do like the way it looks, (apart from the fact it's mainly silver). But i think it would be more useful in a situation where that was almost your only kitchen storage. (and cleaning underneath looks like it might be a pain).

    Posh alert... TWO posh phones...
    :)

First one was £60, has lastted 2 years but now has a different back borrowed from another phone and can not charge and refuses to display https (although this last may be a problem with the flashed rom or network operator)

Replacement is a bit more pricey at £83 but has a high res screen 1280x720 which I hope will make it useful for browsing on the go.

As you know I always have a contract with 4-600 mins and at least 500mb of data for zero annual cost and normally hope to recoupe the handset cost on sale after 2 years so having a mobile although a little bit of work is basically free.

Of course I could pay the 700 quid a year apple tax but I choose not to.
    I think....

In the world of blackberry, you would just connect old one to PC and sync phone to PC, then connect new one to PC and sync PC to phone. Using blackberry desktop.

In the apple world you would do similar using itunes, possibly also possible through outlook.

Never played with android phones, but there must be similar - possibly through a googlemail account?

You can have the cabinet in one of 500 colours - and you choose everything in it too.

    Ah, well, objection removed then.

Silvercar's resistance applies to me too though. Also, the thing won't fit on the wall space allocated for 'fridge' in my kitchen.

I'm not a fan of all this built-in appliances in kitchens malarky..... I prefer stand alone units, you know where you are with those and aren't caught one when one bit breaks.

Here the fridge, freezer and washing machine are behind cabinet doors.... d4mned inconvenient - especially the freezer as the cabinet door doesn't really open wide enough to get the freezer door open wide enough to pull out the baskets easily/properly/fully. I'd seen pictures of kitchens like that in the past, but never experienced it - and it's not something I'd wish for. You're paying extra for every day inconvenience now and extra cost/problems when it comes to replacement time.

I prefer built in white goods, generally.

And having had both I have to say while free standing often looks nicer, it's more time consuming and difficult to clean well. Gaps between dressers etc become a reserve for grubbiness unless attended to, and just wiping over the outside of fitted units and benches is much, much quicker.
