    what is Llu?

Sprit, we are rural, and get plus net (on the old bt wires or however it works).
Our mobile calls are free to the landline...so usually if I call dh he just cuts me off then calls me straight back. We also get free calls to each other. Our phones are two phones on one bill.

I am sure even in non-llu areas there are alternatives to BT.
No idea what I'm talking about, but Martin's got a thing where you type in your postcode and it tells you who covers your area.... although the resulting info/table can be confusing (if you're naive/inexperienced).... it's OK for people who understand terms like LLU and alternatives (no idea what LLU is, or what an alternative would be).

Edit: Here it is http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cheap-broadband#tool - I used it yesterday, or the day before. It's great, except I didn't know/understand enough to be able to use the information.

    :)

IM PROPA FICK about this stuff, bearing in mind I've had years in IT and do all that webby thingamajig. I've just never been of the "wealthy enough" classes to have gadgetry and posh phones etc... and for BB I first picked the only one available in my area (in 2002) and then picked "the cheapest one" 5 years ago (for 2.5 years).

All these deals, contracts and changing around .... things didn't used to work like that.... once upon a time you picked something, the only one, and stayed with it for life :)

    I just googled Llu.

    We don't have that.

Technically we get bt and that's it, but as I say spirit, plus net works with that.

No, it feels ugly. I preferred me when I believed people were capable of change

I think it ends up meaning:
Lost, Lonely, Unprepared.... for this complexity.

Everybody is capable of it, it's just that with some it's a full-time job for a team of 4 to achieve, with a timeline of about 10 years.

    :)

It's OK to be a bit mean sometimes to people..... just try not to hit them as that's too mean :)

And - you can always have a little cry about being mean when nobody's looking. It's all all right you know :)

Lydiaj, I can't believe it has been four years. You have come so far and grown so much stronger.

Um, it's been three. Well, three since he died. Seven since he left, and nine since he first told me he didn't love me. But thanks for the compliment anyway. :) Yeah, I've come a long way. I'd rather be who it's made me than who I used to be before. :)

Praying you get some hope back somehow and some time.

Talking of "the accident" - it was 3 years ago tomorrow.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
