As the helpful custardy has said, this item was sent by RM Tracked. No signature required, therefore (not bizarrely) no signature requested, so no signature obtained. Not difficult to grasp. Not too rude a reply?

Think this is going to be problem. To the doorstep is not to the customers hand. It sounds like a very good wizz by Royal Mail to save them time and money. As all it mean is that the posty can leave it on your doorstep (or anywere else) for all the world to see and steal.

As there is not a signature I think there maybe a case for the good not being delivered to the customer who ordered it.

The item is tracked to delivery, I think you are being an unnecessary pedant.

I have used this service for a few years without any issue.

Signatures don't prevent theft or fraud and are no longer required for any paypal protection.

Tracked, is one of the few things RM have done in recent years, that is actually an improvement

Indeed and recently allowing one single volume to qualify for the two services was even better. We were well inside RMT but about 500 parcels short for RMTND. Now we have the best of both worlds and the customer chooses what suits.
