Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I'm in the same boat as you in that if an emergency came up it would have to go on my credit card. Hi GL! :wave:Thanks, I certainly don't feel like I am, feel like I'm swimming upstream!! But thank you anyway
pleased to have you on board. Feel free to kick a$$ if I look like I'm not behaving. Or if my total goes up again
Didn't do my drawers this eve, was so down-heartened by the stupid watch / dentist that I just came home, drank tea and faffed about on the internet. I was a bit productive after my cuppa revived me though, listed another 4 items on ebay so only one more to go (realised I hadn't taken any photos so I'll have to wait til it's light again - pretty sure that's never, unless I'm at work.. is it that late on in the year?) and my 'to list' bag is empty. 'Listed' bag was merged with 'Sold and waiting for payment' bag so I found a box and had a sort out - everything is neat nowOne more person paid for their item so I packed that up as well as my amazon sale - can post them tomorrow. Sorting the ebay bags out inspired me to sort the other [STRIKE]heaps[/STRIKE] neat organised piles that had accumulated around my desk, and now I feel much better :j
Chicken and bacon pasta for tea, boy put LOADS in my bowl so popped that in a container for lunch tomorrow, sorted! Got through a bit of my 'mending' pile too so I haven't been that unproductive really... can't believe the time though, I'm gonna be a sleepyscuff in the morning! And it feels like I just got home
Anyways on that note best poddle off to my bed! A week tomorrow til payday - then we start making progress!!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Hey youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu,
Subscribing to keep an eye on you haha
I know you'll also be giving me an a$$ kicking if my totals go up & I'm counting on it!
Your sounding very organised so well done you.
I have nothing listed on ebay at the minute but might have a wee root around the house to see whats about that I can sell!
This is when the OH starts to worry & hide all the xbox games incase I sell them LOL
I'm pretty much the same as you with regards to debt - offered a loan & CC when I was 18 & the rest the say is (a bad credit) history!

Morning Scuff! Have subcribed to your diary.
Well done on what you've achieved so far, you're doing brilliantly. I've not sold on Ebay for ages as I got fed up, so well done one what you've sold.
Will check on you later xx0 -
Heyhey Dolly :hello: & Purple :hello: hehe waving men amuse me...
Anyway, moving swiftly on from my mild case of the crazies...
I'm pretty much too tired to function today. Actually stopped at a green light on the way to work. The lady behind me did not look impressed when she had to beep me to sense. So I apologise in advance if this post makes no sense at all, I'm sure it's making sense to me as I type it!
I've just eaten my pudding from last night for breakfast, brought it into work so that OH wouldn't eat it while I'm out (he works from home). Nothing like raspberry jelly as your first meal of the day!
Today's MSE plans are:
-[STRIKE]Post Amazon and ebay packages[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Have NSD (Other than postage costs ofc - these don't count!)[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Eat leftover tea for lunch[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Pack up other item that has been paid for this morning[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Check bank accounts to see where I am[/STRIKE] (GULP)
On the 'gulp' note, I didn't realise till I saw lots of other people on here checking their banks (or I did realise but I pretended not to!) but checking my bank PETRIFIES me  like actually I hate doing it, other than in the first few days after I'm paid. OH checks his like 400 times a day, but if you asked me how much I have on a random day, I couldn't tell you (other than not a lot!) This 1) speaks volumes! and 2) is something I need to address. So from now on I'm going to check it every day, see what's come in / gone out / what spare change i can swoosh over to OD1 etc etc. You hear that Scuff?? EVERY DAY!!!
Self pep talk over.
Non-MSE plans are:
-Clean hamster out (this requires new bedding, I got told off on the pet threads)
-Ironing
-Hoover round where my highly organised mess was yesterday (theres now a gaping un hoovered floor instead)
-Nap
-Nap
-Catch up on GBBO
-Nap (I'm tired)
Righto, best get back to workies!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Oh, and Dolly, after I left here I wandered into the bedroom to get ready for bed, and found 2 bags to add to the ebay bag. And thought seriously about another dress (I'm pretty sure it's off in the bag when I get home!)
Dear oh dear.
Also, don't worry, we wont be seeing any totals go up, will we? WILL WE?!?!! :rotfl: (other than when we're super debt free and saving instead!)

Well, checked my bank. As I expected I don't have much - £8.28 until payday a week today. Checked my credit card to see how much minimum payment is, it's still set at £125, which is what I set it up to be before, but I since changed it when I realised I would be better off paying my OD1 off first. Don't know what to do about this, guess only thing to do is do a switch around and then switch it all back again after - after I've rung them to see if I can change it / why the DD hasn't been changed. Annoying!!! Ebay posted (£4.40) leftovers munched (£0) and I think it's time for a cuppa before I get back to work
Joint account is at £16.50 - this should be okay, we have meals planned until Friday and it gets topped back up when I get paid on Tuesday, so all we need is 4 meals, 2 of which we should get from leftovers/batch cooks. The water bill will have to wait til TuesSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
I just nearly fell off my chair. Just done a quick tot-up of the joint account, what we spend money on etc. Turns out last month (23rd Sept to present) we spent £234.59!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's only two of us. And worst thing is I thought we were doing well, batch cooking, meal planning etc. There's a lot of sneaky trips to sains in this little statement though - this needs to STOPSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200
