It's the weekend wahooooo! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j (this is not actually how I feel, I'm glad it's the weekend but most definitely don't have the energy levels of those little yellow fellas!!!)

Had NSD both yesterday and today, brings my total to 9 so far :) Not a NSD for the joint though, just been to Sains for a top up shop, £37 eeek :( off to Asda for a big shop tomorrow, bit annoyed about the bill to say it was meant to be a few bits for tea  Although a good thing was I found out the time that they put all the items onto reduced, and I got a bit over excited! And then ashamed. And then excited. Man there were some good things on there! People also are lethal! :rotfl: I'm going to make it a mission to bob over at half 6ish a few times and see if I can find some nice bits for the freezer :) OH walked away and looked at gourmet food :rotfl: it amused me!

Lots to do this weekend! Will update my list tomorrow, might take all weekend though!!!

Super pleased with myself today, went with Mum to Ikea / the scattering of other clothes shops / Boots etc that are around there, and didnt spend a penny!! Although I did find some super cute wedges in RI (that were only £28!) and they looked lovely on but I put them back! Good Scuff. Mum did buy me some plates I've had my eye on for a bit, so really it was a cheaty NSD but I'm still counting it :rotfl:Got loads to do, can't believe the time already and I haven't done anything! Well I've caught up on other diaries and obv been out this morning, but nothing productive!
Here goes with the weekend's list:

    1. BLITZ the flat. I've been useless this week and it really p*sses me off to see the place in such a state. Tbh half the time I feel quite overwhelmed, and there's only two of us. Dreading how I'll feel when we multiply
    2. Washing / ironing blahblah*
    3. Clean the hamster*
    4. Plan for big shop / go big shop
    5. Ebay - got items to list and also item to pack up to post tomorrow night when they end. One jumper is at £4.71 with a day and a half to go, which I'm impressed with :T
    6. Make a birthday card for a lady at work. Complete with googley eyes :D
    7. TAKE THE CANCELLATION LETTERS TO THE GYM!!!!!!!!!! First I need to re-date them though, been so long :o
    8. Make soup :)
    9. Make cake :D
    10. Take my chugg to Poppa Scuff's to see if my clutch is dying :(
    11. Do the pile of sewing (boring stuff like holes and buttons, although defs need to make some actual clothes soon!)
    12. Go to doctors and get my address changed. For some reason despite them needing THREE forms of ID, they still put a made up address on my details. Come on guys, the postcode isn't even the same!!!!
As I said, pretty long list, especially to say it's now ten past 3 and all I've done is increase my crockery collection!! So guess I best get my bum into gear!

Asda done, weeks meals for a few pence over £39, which amused me to say a few bits in Sains yesterday cost £37! Was also waiting for the letter on ebay to verify me for more items than 10, apparently it's now waiting at dad's so I can hotfoot (hotcar?) it round there tomorrow and get it so I can do some free listing!! Sold a vinyl on Amazon too which was a nice surprise, so can collect that too!!
Half the flat is shiny clean, just bathroom & hoovering to do tomorrow. Oh and ironing :( Was going to make soup and sultana malt loaf this eve but the thought of cutting butternut squash exhausts me and I couldn't find malt extract (apparently they sell it in Holland & Barratt?) so I'll do those tomorrow. Will bob to the docs to sort my address out whilst I wander to h&b too. Pretty pleased with my progress for an afternoon, plus I made some fish pats for tea (they were supposed to be fishCAKES but went a bit, erm, wrong :rotfl: ) and ate them off our lovely new plates wahoo. Easily impressed!!

  • Sounds like you're doing really well. I tend to find it doesn't matter what you need to buy, shopping in supermarkets always seems to cost the same.

    2. [STRIKE]Washing / ironing blahblah*[/STRIKE]
    3. Clean the hamster*
    4. [STRIKE]Plan for big shop / go big shop[/STRIKE] £39.12 1 weeks meals + stuff for soup and baking
    5. [STRIKE]Ebay - got items to list and also item to pack up to post tomorrow night when they end. One jumper is at £4.71 with a day and a half to go, which I'm impressed with :T[/STRIKE] Made (if they pay!) £24.45 on this, so when that all goes across I'll pay it off the O/D :D
    6. [STRIKE]Make a birthday card for a lady at work. Complete with googley eyes :D [/STRIKE] Lost the googley eyes :( so just one out of my birthday card stash instead
    7. TAKE THE CANCELLATION LETTERS TO THE GYM!!!!!!!!!! First I need to re-date them though, been so long :oDO THIS YOU DIVVY
    8. [STRIKE]Make soup :) [/STRIKE] Butternut and sweet potato YUM
    9. [STRIKE]Make cake :D[/STRIKE] Sultana malt loaf (one for now one in freezer) YUM
    10. Take my chugg to Poppa Scuff's to see if my clutch is dying :(

So just a few bits to do, need to take those blummin letters to the gym, really stupid that I haven't (I'm a bit scared tbh aha) and little tidy round. A couple more ebay bits need posting too.
Pretty happy with ebay sales, one person's paid already and that's been posted off just now after I'd had my HM butternut & sweet potato soup. DELISH! Someone brought some cookies into the office so I'm munching on that - No spend lunch :D
Spend on petrol (& ebay postage but does this count as it's already paid for??) though - somehow I used £30 of petrol since weds afternoon!!!!!?!
Need to do more surveys too, but I'm at £9 on Valued Opinions and they've stopped sending me surveys!!!! I only need a POUND!!!!
Rest of today I plan to work until 4:30, unless something goes kaput, then the 45 min trawl down the M1  home to re-cover my bedroom drawers. I quite like refurbishing (is this even the right word?!) furniture but the wallpaper I put as an interest on the front of our drawers went bubbly so I'm going to try again with wallpaper paste rather than spray glue that i used before. Only thing is I already pulled the first lot of paper off, so for the past week it's been annoying me looking all cr*ppy and tatty. They looked lovely before, the bubbles were just grating on me, bet noone else could notice them :rotfl:
Anyway best get back to earning my pay, looking forward to Friday already!!! (Plus it's payday next Tues yippeeeeee!)

We used to fall short on the joint account by loads every month (we still fall a little short now and again tbh) but when we scrutinised the statements it turned out we were spending £400+ on food. We were doing a full weekly shop and still going to the nearby Sains a few (4+ :o) times a week to 'top up' or get something fast cos we cba. And then we were throwing everything away at the end of the week. We've cut down LOADS by planning our meals (it's the veg we mainly had trouble with going out of date) and hardly throw anything away now. I think it's something a lot of people do. Althoguh we do still go to sains every now and again, and we're yet to manage getting it under 20, even if we just bob in for milk. Their advertising bods know what they're up to!!
    Love your name btw!!

(Sorry, that was a bit of an essay!)

    Money feds me up.

    £44.69 of charges onto OD1, so that's increased :(

My watch has broken, which is costing me £111.38 :( if I don't get it fixed before christmas then my warranty expires, but due to some weird thing that I cba explaining right now, I'll invalidate my lifetime guarantee if I don't get it serviced before then. I also have an emergency dentist treatment that's costing £360 (lovely crown wahoo -_-) They've both had to go on my CC, which is 0% on purchases too so no interest but still depressed me a little. I'm supposed to be making these numbers smaller not bigger!!!
