I make a yummy tomato and lentil soup, its basically some chopped up onions and carrots, fried off to soften, chuck in couple cans of tinned toms, swill the tins out with water chuck that in, bung in a good handful red lentils, garlic and a stock cube, season with a little salt loads of black pepper, let it simmer away until lentils have softens, or stick it in the slow cooker for a few hours, whizz it up with a stick blender add a spash of cream and whallah yummy tomato and lentil soup.
Sorry i don't do quantities:o.
Thanks pwps I will try this one tomorrowhopefully with a bit more luck than I have with the slow cooker full of potato gloop in the kitchen...
Already failing on going to bed on time, but because I got caught up getting organised for tomorrow, so I'm going to pretend it's okay! Everywhere is tidy, lunch is made for tomorrow, clothes are ironed and hanging up waiting for me to jump in them with Monday morning vigour! Yeah right!
Night all!

I love being awake on a night, that's my problem. Together with the fact that I need a solid 8 hours a night's sleep. I know I feel better when I go to bed at around 11, but I just DON'T WANT TO!!!!goodlife10 wrote: »Hi Scuff, sounds like you started the week super-organised!

:shhh: I will do it tomorrow on the way to see my Poppa, I PROMISE. I need nagging anyway otherwise I'll just carry on whistling merrily away >>:whistle:
It's the interaction that petrifies me to be honest, I'm really scared to take it, and that's why I'm putting it off. But I do promise I'll do it tomorrowWish I was as organised for the morning, always a mad rush here trying to get everyone up, dressed, and out the door!
Haha Ladybird, I'm not normally organised in a morning, and there's only one - adult - me to get out of the door. I dread to think how I'd cope if I was you :rotfl: mad rush would be an understatement!!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Man it is COLD today. We've started to get condensation on the inside of our windows so window ledges are covered in towels / cloths etc. I don't understand why in a relatively new build flat (2009) they've put aluminium window frames in which suck out the heat, make the windows super cold and as a result have massive water droplets running down them. I've considered maybe we should get a dehumidifier but any that are decent seem super expensive? I dunno?! Got in the car this morning to discover ice on the INSIDE!!! couldn't believe it, silly ole chugg!
MSE wise I've spent 45p today on a pint of milk for tea at work and that's it. Also added yet ANOTHER tab to my debtbuster / budget / everything spreadsheet, this one incorporates kind of a spending diary for Oct - Nov (& I'll carry on for each pay period). I've done a rough budget tab at the front with what I thought were kind of my limits for each section on a monthly basis, but will be interesting to see how this differs in real life to what I actually think they are! Updated my totals on spreadsheet too which updates my jazzy graph! (I'll share this after say 3 months, I reckon it'll be quite good encouragement to see & share visual progress )September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -

So so so SO tired today, need a reasonable night tonight. Plus I'm on a course today which for this morning has just been classroom based but gets all practical this afternoon, to do with breathing apparatus and confined spaces and rescue plans - I'm a bit nervous to go back down haha. Also found out that the guy running the course is going to take a photo of us for records, and man do I look rough!!!! NSD today (fingers crossed, I think I'm okay for petrol but this may change when I get in the car and see an empty tank
) Forgot to bring lunch as I was rushing about this morning, decided to have a bit of yoghurt (out of one of those big pouring pots that I keep here for breakfasts) and accidentally ate the whole pot. I seriously feel over yoghurted, if such a thing exists!!!
Had a slight rethink on the cards, still doing the same thing but on a smaller scale - I have Christmas tree hole punch induced hand crampyitus today haha
Not much to report MSE wise, other than letter is going TODAY!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Good Girl Scuff!! You'll feel so much better when that letter has gone!
Course sounds a nightmare- I hate having to do CPR on those blooming dolls!!
Hope you managed the NSD- I hoper to have a few of those in next couple of weeks!
