It was good for a Bond filmmade me cringe quite a few times haha but the screen was packed so we had to sit in those ridiculous seats at the front and I didn't really notice the discomfort, so must have been good! :rotfl:
- [STRIKE]Go sort out Halifax (This has been needed to be done for a few weeks, and I can only really do it on a Sat morning as I have to go into branch to do it!!)[/STRIKE]I also have some bits to do at home:
- [STRIKE]FINALLY pay the £15 in 5p coins I counted up last weekend into paying off OD1[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Get the doctors to change my address to the right one[/STRIKE]
-Take cancellation letters to the gym (they're currently dated 24/09/12)
-OH starts a placement on Monday, so need to do some [STRIKE]washing [/STRIKE]and ironing for that
-[STRIKE]Parsnip and Potato soup to make[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]Office stuff to finish as mentioned in previous post[/STRIKE]
-[STRIKE]General clean around[/STRIKE]
-Ventilation system filters
-Winter Curtains
- EDIT: FINISH THE BEDROOM DRAWERS!!!!!!!!!
Got quite a bit done today, in addition to this did 2 other loads of washing, cleaned the bathroom, bought some headlight bulbs and drank around 7 million cups of tea. Didn't end up going to York, OH is a bit under the weather so he had a good sleep, needs his health for Monday!! Forcing him outside in the cold for fireworks though :rotfl:
Headlight bulbs cost me £7.31 (had to buy three though, when I wanted 2, as the shop didn't take card for under a fiver. They'll come in useful though I'm sure!)
Anyway, best go watch the sparkles in the skyyyy!!! xxSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -

I feel like I'm being told off haha, but that's only cos I'm guilty.. I forgot to take the letter as we were running late, but I'm going to take them tomorrow on our way out to see my dad.
Fireworks were good, went on a ride but man, when did rides get so expensive... £3!!!!!!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -

Give me 24 hours and I'll show you
Man this not spending is making me super drunk! Only had a few drinks and I am DEFINITELY feeling the wobble!! xSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -

I may have to confess that I need longer than 24 hours, especially when I completely forget I said I'd do it. I could probably make one now but I have some other bits to do and don't think I should go without lunch tomorrow or clothes (!) just to make a jazzy crimbly card
Spent £8 last night - £3 on a ride (!) which came out of my change box, and £5 in the pub afterwards.
My potato and parsnip soup is awful. Just tastes like potatoes that have been boiled into the water, which in essence it is I guess!! I think I'll be a one soup recipe girl if this carries on, butternut squash and sweet potato all the way!
New week tomorrow, packing OH off on his travels to his placement 60 miles away  120 mile round trip to work, I don't envy the poor boy! But at least the electricity bills should go down, and the flat stay tidy while he's out :rotfl:
Just need to iron myself some clothes!! Taking leftover sausage casserole for lunch tomorrow too (instead of yucko soup) which will make lunchtime an affair to look forward to - it's DELICIOUS!!! Also tidied out the freezer to fit more batch cooks in, I'm such a little old lady at heart
Hope everyone's had a good day, ours has been super lazy, just the way I like it, I'm still in my jammiesSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Oh no to the soup.
I make a yummy tomato and lentil soup, its basically some chopped up onions and carrots, fried off to soften, chuck in couple cans of tinned toms, swill the tins out with water chuck that in, bung in a good handful red lentils, garlic and a stock cube, season with a little salt loads of black pepper, let it simmer away until lentils have softens, or stick it in the slow cooker for a few hours, whizz it up with a stick blender add a spash of cream and whallah yummy tomato and lentil soup.
Sorry i don't do quantities:o.0 -
Ooh that soup sounds nice and I'm not a soup person.
