I did myine a few weeks back, and my Christmas cake, so anytime now is good, that way it can mature, and it will taste wonderful by xmas.0 -

my mum had a mental block last year she bought me a special key to hang up a xmas so santa could get into my house ( as we dont have achimney) but i had to remind her that santa already has a magical key that gets him into all houses without chimneys' and i should know he's been visiting my house once a year for 27 years this year. silly mum.
also who eats my carrots and mince pies of theres no santa.
next someone will be trying to tell me that the gooligon that lives in my bedroom isnt real and the pixies that play tricks on me and the faires at the bottom of my garden dont exist, total rubbish ive seen them all!!!!!!!!0 -

Happy Birthday Mike!!!
Ok guys - completely stuck for Grandad this year. He is 83, he has too many clothes, too many books about the war, too many tins of biscuits and sweets....and WAYYY too many socks. So what do you get the man who has everything and needs nothing??
I've just decided I'm definatly doing him a book of "time" vouchers, cos although I see him a lot, 'quality' time is rare these days so he can redeem them off me!
But actual proper presents???? totally lost! I know he WILL need razor blades (i think he must eat them at the rate he uses them at!) but what else??? we usually spend about £50 but if anyone has any great ideas PLEEEEEEASE can you inspire me????

I think you posted this on the wrong thread though, :rotfl: :rotfl:. Should've been on the September Grocery Challenge. B/day went OK only DW thought it was tomorrow. Am now gently sipping my cans of B/day beer .
