ohh been to primark this week and stocked up on those lovely £4 jammie sets all for me lol will have to get some more for pressies!
  • Hi everyone

I take it the new Primark in Liverpool will be like our Argyll Street one in Glasgow? Glasgow and the surrounding areas have a Primark in every shopping centre basically but the Argyll Street one is HUGE and is always freakishly tidy.. as in tidy tidy and not just by Primark's standards!

Went to Tesco today and filled me boots on the DVD's and books under a fiver. Total bargain, seriously everyone get down there!

Other than that trying to curb my Christmas spending at the minute as I have noticed the shops getting geared up for Christmas and this just makes me feel the complusion to buy. Very dangerous!

How is everyone else getting on?

I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down

I am staying away from the shops too, and away from the deals on here, as i am finding it harder not to spend, and i so want to stick to my budget.
  • Hello everyone. I am doing my 2 neices a "day out "hamper.Using tesco points for entry to animal farm near Brean which i know the 2 littlies will enjoy.Any one have any ideas as to what else i can put in with the day out tickets. Will be putting the leaflet in [with opening times etc].The girls are 2 and 4. Do you think a cheap disposable is a good idea[my brother can process this for free for them]??Any other ideas would be v. welcome.

I did a day out hamper for my nephews last year for christmas, and it went down really well.
I gave them tickets (from tesco) for Lego land and popped in lego, disposable camera, drinks/goodies/icecream money.

A farm animal colouring book and crayons?....perhaps a farm animal teddy each?....I put a £1 coin in an envelope each for an icecream. (with drawing of an ice cream on the front).......I added two little drinks, two packet of crisps and two packet of sweets to fill the basket out...a disposable camera is a good idea too. :). How about making up/or looking for a farm animal pair matching game? We made one up with farm animal noises on (bit like bingo but with animals).
    I'm sure they'll love it!! :)
