Hi
My mum purchased two of the boots soap and glory gift packs at the special £27 price. They arrived with a lovely delivery driver on tues who asked wot they were cuz he had delivered them all day! The next day the same driver arrived with two more of the packs asking if it was a special offer bogof or something cuz he had delivered the exact same boxes to the exact same houses!! Now my mum has 4 boxes and has only ordered and paid for two, what does she do with the spares? Is this Boots' mistake or will they eventually try to send her a bill? Any suggestions?? Tia x0 -

If the driver said he'd delivered twice to all the others then keep your mouth shut, it's obviously a mistake by Boots that they've dispatched the order twice for alot of people.
Give them as presents or sell them if you dont need them. Boots cant make you pay for an error on there behalf.
Tell them if you want, but for these greedy fat cat companies 2 gift sets is a drop in the ocean.0 -

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations say you have a right to keep goods delivered to you that you didn’t ask for.
If you receive goods you have not ordered, you can treat the goods as an unconditional gift and you can do what you want with them.
You have no obligation to return the goods to the trader or allow the trader to collect the goods. However, it would be reasonable for you to contact the trader to explain what has happened and give them a chance to collect the goods from you.0
