I just rang boots as my order should have been here by now for the S&G sets. They've "gone missing"...
I think I have to be the unluckiest person going just now, I also ordered the big city wooden rescue centre from ELC, it also "went missing". Hope the gits that stole them have a nice Christmas, coz you've ruined mine :(
    Sorry rant over x

    Oh no :(

I hope you got both retailers to talk to/investigate the courier, was it the same company? If so, make them aware of that too.

one was Hermes (never reached my local delivery guy, he's brilliant) went missing before that, the other was YODEL and I think the least said about them the better!!
ELC weren't very helpfull, but the girl I just talked with from Boots customer service was lovely though, she managed to find me 3 from one store and have them transferred to a store closer to me, to pick up. not ideal but a solution none the less. Just got to keep my fingers crossed now that they remember to call me when they get them and that it's before Christmas!!!

I was in a similar situation a few years ago at xmas. Now i always do click and collect or buy in store around xmas.

Hope you get it sorted in time.

    Yodel and Hermes are useless.

Started getting excited about the 50% off sale not the final weekly offer was started :D

It's so much darn fun trying to get the order through every year!
  • Excellent. Package with myherpes, due for delivery today according to email from Boots.
Checked tracking number, still at "hub". No movement for 4 days.
Called Boots who advise that myherpes are "behind" and it should be with me in 48 hours... Yeah right. Perhaps they may have thought of contacting me and perhaps letting me know instead of keeping me on hold for 10mins+ on a nice revenue generating 0845 number.

I mean, this is the first time Christmas has ever happened so I can well understand why couriers are all so unprepared.

To be fair they are probably quite distracted by having Herpes, can't be pleasant ;)

Very true. Gaah. Hate them so much. Worse than Yodel/HDNL.:mad::mad:
  • Ordered 2 S&G sets on Friday morning ( Yes I know I said I wasn't getting it this year) anyhow, have only received 1 parcel this evening, and according to the Yodel Tracking service the other was returned to the Hub. Have no idea why that was as I signed for the parcel I got, and no-one else has left the house since last night apart from me! If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow I'll not be a happy bunny
