If's its been sent back to the hub, you may not get it! That's what happened to my sale parcel last year, they just kept saying that something had been damaged and they canceled the whole order all £87 worth...I wasn't a happy bunny either!

Well I have one, which was for a Christmas present, the other one was an extra one, for my niece, but if I don't get it I'll be making sure I get my money back for it! First time I've ordered home delivery from Boots, shall be the last time also

  • i so hope my store has s&g set in the morning before i start work, the issues with working long shifts you miss out on the deal you have been waiting for :-(
  • Literally a wall of S&G at Hempstead Valley, Gillingham today. I was surprised to see so many having seen the demand on here.

During the sales last year I placed 3 orders online. The first and most expensive 'went missing', one of the others was delivered with a great hole in it with a couple of items missing, however the third parcel made it here intact. Yodel was the courier for all orders.

Whilst I was compensated quite generously with points, I was still miffed nonetheless that the items I bought and paid for were taken by some scumbag.

The S&G set I ordered along with a few other bits was delivered on Monday instead of the Tuesday as stated on my confirmation by DPD. They usually text to say when they will be delivering but received no text. When I got home there was a note in the door stating my parcels were at the rear of our house. Usually parcels are put in our tiny shed but no, this time they were left on the doorstep, been there since 4pm and the time was now a few minutes past 6. The S&G set was wet as was the cardboard sleeve due to the pouring rain. Not happy. Have not managed to get through to Boots CS but will try again tomorrow!

Don't think there would be any instore today as the new OOTW starts today.
  • Lots of S&G sets left in Worksop this morning
    Nice to save.
  • Ordered 2 S&G sets on Friday morning ( Yes I know I said I wasn't getting it this year) anyhow, have only received 1 parcel this evening, and according to the Yodel Tracking service the other was returned to the Hub. Have no idea why that was as I signed for the parcel I got, and no-one else has left the house since last night apart from me! If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow I'll not be a happy bunny

I always get my Boots orders delivered to a store these days because the couriers are appalling, not just for Boots either. A friend of mine ordered some Boots from ASOS and the courier chucked them over her garden wall, and they sat in the garden all day. She complained to ASOS and they sent her a voucher but she said she'd never buy from them again. It's a shame companies don't get rid of crap couriers when they get complaints as they must lose a lot of business through it.
