  • Hi, Just having a read around the forum and like the look of this don't buy any more lark :)
So I can join in though, can anyone explain quickly the full idea and what things such as UU mean please? or point me in the direction of the rules? I'm struggling a bit navigating if I'm honest but I'm sure it will get easier the more time I spend on here :)

Best bet is to read the first page all the abbreviations are there although we are all more than happy to explain. Everyone has their own budgets and needs but most of all enjoy the products you have and welcome to us crazy bunch you never know it might even save u a £ or 2. Happy Pampering !

In the words of teenages, OMG!!! I just counted up the packets of facial wipes. 5 x 15, 1 x 10, 1x25, Grand total: 110. Did not count the individal wrapped sample sizes.

Must step away from the rack in the drug store.

Made this startling discovery when I put all the cleanser type stuff in a separate box.

My secret attack plan is finish the 25 pack, start a smaller one and then finish it in Vegas. I'm pinning a lot on the Vegas trip, have a bag of samples to take. Does anybody know what the toilletries are like in the Venetian? I'm hoping they are cheap and nasty! But Sephora and CVS aren't that far away, neither is L'Occtaine. Sigh, flounce.

I'm in touch with imy inner teenaged girl today.

    UU

Loccitane Lavender Foaming Bath, 100ml - WNBA, you have to use far too much to actually get any decent bubbles! Subtle Scent!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, 1.5ml
Caudalie Vinexpert Night Infusion Cream - WNBA, it is ok i suppose, smells nice but far far too expensive!

First UU of October - Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser 50ml

This was part of a Dermalogica starter kit that I bought a couple of years ago through a Groupon offer. I only started using it on holiday a few weeks ago and wasn't impressed at first. I used the moisturiser up while we were away, the cleanser has just 'died' but I think the toner will be a LHJ. My skin has been a lot better recently (I have rosacea, ezcema and acne, not the best of hat tricks!) but I just don't know whether it's anything to do with the products I am using.

In the past I have found that there are times when I treat my skin with tlc and it is awful and there are times when I neglect it shamefully and it thrives on it. I had a stubborn dry patch on my chin that just wouldn't budge and that has finally gone. However, my nose which is another problem area seems to be deteriorating again.

I've started using a Murad facial wash that came free with a magazine. If my skin gets worse again I just don't know whether it's worth paying for another Dermalogica kit or not. They have changed the formulation of some of their products anyway, so even if the cleanser is the HG the replacement might not be.

I have cut the end of a S&G Scrub Your Nose in it, has been goingon for what feels like forever, going off S&G big style :(
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I think lots of us have overdosed on S and G. It's like when you're a kid and you get a selection box and it looks wonderful. After the 7th bar or so you start to feel a bit sick!

I've got an S and G body lotion on the go now and everything I loved about it I now hate - the fragrance that I really liked just seems sickly, I liked the fact that it was in a spray but I seem to manage to miss my body (hard to imagine how, I'm not exactly skinny!) and I spend a lot of time cleaning it up off the floor - the body lotion, not my body lol!

On the other hand, I've nearly finished up a Boots Royal Jelly body lotion. I really didn't think much of it but today I've decided I quite like it! I think it's because I didn't put perfume on so could actually smell the body lotion and it has a really nice fragrance. I still have shower gel and bubble bath from the same set so will use them as a change from the LHJ of S and G Clean Girls!

My vow for this month is: "If I don't love it, I'm not cutting the ends off it to get the last bits out".

I want it gone, so if it splutters and involves turning it upside down or chopping up to finish it up, no way.

Logic is I did well to get it done.

Hi, I am sure I read that a lot of the Dermologica formulas have been changed, so if you have had it for a while, the replacement item might not be the same, don't know if you can check the ingredients on line or in person somewhere.:)

sorry read this (badly) at 02:30 - insomnia! did't notice you had already mentioned reformulation.
