I ventured onto the parking thread about hassle I'm getting with my car  OMG they are a bit mean over there and TBH not exactly the help I was looking for. So I'm back here for some niceness please
I have gone 2 months without any bought INS :A:T I do have 1 IN today from Instyle magazine subscription of a Benefit bronzer. I also see Marie Claire has a l'occtaine handcream in their next isue. I haven't tried but but heard a lot of people on here raving about it but the magazine costs £3.70 so maybe give this a miss. I have quite a few BS hemp hand cream and especially with the cold will be using them first.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Have two freebie ins today, a colour protecting hair masque to trial for Alba science and a summer glow gradual tan body lotion to trial for tesco. The tan is a bit of a pain as I normally wouldn't be bothering with that in October.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

UUs:
Guerlain Le Petite Robe Noir perfume sample (freebie) - Quite possibly the nicest perfume I've smelt for ages. Will definitely buy (or ask for xmas)
Palmer’s Cocoa butter massage lotion for stretch marks - Did nothing, wouldn't buy again.
My stash list is currently resting at 252. I have a few splutterers I think I'll get through before the end of the month.
That perfume is lovely isn't it?! I usually like fresh scents, but really loving my sample of this!LadyMorticia wrote: »Hello.Does anyone remember me?
I stopped doing this challenge for a while due to being pregnant and just generally not being well enough to carry on with it. I'm still pregnant (30 weeks. Eeek!) and still not well with the M.E but thought I would give it a go again.
Will try and see if I can find my list! I have loads of things to add to it due to various comp wins!
Welcome back LadyMorticia! :jboomumlissa wrote: »Hi, Just having a read around the forum and like the look of this don't buy any more lark
So I can join in though, can anyone explain quickly the full idea and what things such as UU mean please? or point me in the direction of the rules? I'm struggling a bit navigating if I'm honest but I'm sure it will get easier the more time I spend on here

Grrrrrrr, my post completely disappeard into the ether:eek:
Welcome to newbies (see first post for all the stuff you need to know), welcome back to "old girls", happy belated birthday to all those I have missed, congrats on house purchase, and hi to everone else. Sorry not to mention by name, but feeling cold and yuck today, snuggled under duvet with laptop and tv on!The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Are things like deodorants and the cream above considered "unnecessary"?
I think we all have a different take on this really - most people count anything as 'unnecessary' if they've already one or more of those products in their stash. Some count everything in, some don't count essentials such as toothpaste etc. Depends what works for you, there's no hard and fast rules really, whatever suits0 -

Hi and welcomeThe front page of the thread explains the 'rules' and all the abbreviations etc - UU is used up. We're a very friendly bunch though so if there's anything you're not sure about then just holler!

Hello,Can I join please, I will post up a list at lunch time.Thank you:)
Welcome :hello:
Happy birthday bunnykins and indiepanda
LadyMorticia welcome back - how exciting 30 weeks - I remember you announcing you were pregnant so great you are back. Make the most of 'Me' time while you can and pamper yourself as much as possible as time will be precious when the baby arrives.
VALM - glad your first day at work in your new job went well
Have 3 UUs so have got off to a flying start this month:
Liz Earle botanical sunshade aftersun - WBA next summer as this was my last tube. I love this aftersun, very cooling and moisturising and good enough to use as an everyday moisturiser in the summer.
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin tonic - WBA - HG product and would never want to be without this
Soap & Glory hand food - ok but still love my L'Occitane above anything else. Due to major aberration in Boots, I think I still have about 3 tubes of this to UU. Not the end of the world as it does the job but not something I would rush out and buy again in a hurry.0
